“Nice quiet property on the lake. Check in process and communication with owner was smooth. Everything clean and in working order. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking but not enough drinking glasses. (They do have some plastic ones). Renter should be aware there are no basic spices not even salt and pepper. Overall a nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay.”

“Used the cabin as a place to stay for a bunch of friends. Conveniently close to all of the ORV trails and big kitchen for cooking. Game room and movie theater were awesome. Rooms and bathrooms clean and spacious. Fire pit was massive and the lake was beautiful. Awesome stay!”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was close to Ski Brule and town. It was easy to find and came with lots of helpful extras, such a a high chair, pack n’ play and extra blanket. The kitchen was fully stocked, including a set of bottles and kids dishes. It was clean, the beds were cozy and the garage was a great perk as a big snowstorm hit while we were there. Would highly recommend this place to couples or families.”

“Our favorite parts of the house were the back deck overlooking the lake and the water trampoline. Our kids loved playing in the water and taking over the lower level of the house. The home was spacious, clean, had comfortable beds, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals.”

“Very nice family retreat. Exactly as posted. Great location. Nice waterfront setting with gentle sloping access at dock. Kayak and paddle boards as well as all sorts ok stuff in the boat shed. Would definitely stay again. Not a complaint but beds are very firm so if you like soft / plush mattress bring your own. Weather during our stay was abnormal . Very Hot. 90 plus . At the price point Ac would be a nice touch especially for the main level”

“Upon arrival my wife found mouse shit on all of the beds except two, which the host took care of promptly, thank you!! however our host never came back to the cabin to give us the remote to control the fireplace down stairs!! In the amenities section of the rental it stated that there was a hot tub, which there was not😭. Loved the location the advertised property was misleading and the host should have followed through with what he said he was doing. On another note the host worked with us on……

“We spent 4 nights as a fall get away. The cabin was clean and comfy! Only downside we noticed was the internet was not great, we couldn't get websites to open due to poor internet connection. We would surely go back. Al and Leslie”

“We rented this cabin for a snowmobile trip. Unfortunately the snow never happened in Wisconsin this year, but the cabin still offered plenty for our group to do during our stay. The cabin was large with several “hang out” areas. Our group enjoyed playing darts and euchre. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The house was also clean. The only problem we had was during check in. We requested an early check in time. We were not granted that despite the house not being used for……

“This was our first VRBO stay and it was a game changer. Our group enjoyed the great kitchen layout to cook meals and visit at the gorgeous kitchen table. Kids loved the outdoor space and amenities in the garage to play. Rooms were spacious and kids woke up saying it was their best sleep ever. The ability to visit with friends and our kids in a comfortable home setting ceated an atmosphere for a weekend we will all talk about for years to come. Thank you for having us.”

“This was our 11th year for a fall vacation getaway. Two brothers and wives with two cousins and wives. All four of us couples have been married over 20 years. We were in Eagle River 9 years ago and loved the area and met so many friendly people. This rental was very new and decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfy. We ventured out a couple of days and stayed in one. We had steak night and the grill was great. Had it not rained we would’ve had a fire as there was a nice backyard area but……

“Overall my friends and I had a blast during our stay. There was plenty of room available to accommodate our 14 man group. A solid lake for ice fishing with beach access was a huge help. We only wish that the listing had slightly better pictures reflecting the stairs that are needed to get to the living room. We have a friend in a chair and it wasn't the end of the world just needed to transfer him every time we left the cabin. Another slight annoyance was instructions on check-out. They seemed a……

“This property is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet and nature! We love to cook, so the kitchen and the grill provided us with everything we needed. We used the wood-burning stove for a cozy warm fire at night and we built a beautiful campfire outside as the snow fell! Ski Brule was our main destination and the mountain was absolutely perfect for the family! Not having much cell reception and Internet access while we were at the cabin was an absolute pleasure! “The home looks over beautiful Sunset Lake. You cannot beat the views from the deck. A perfect place to have your morning coffee. Plenty of room for our family. The owner was quick to respond to all our questions. We were in town for a funeral, but will definitely stay here again under better circumstances.”

“We were very happy with our stay at the Nordic Haus. Check in and out was very easy. It’s nice to have a hot tub to soak in and gives the kids something to do at night because skiing closes by 4pm. The only thing was it says it’s 6 bedroom but it’s only 5 bedroom and then has two beds in the loft. The loft is basically part of the living room so we couldn’t have anyone sleep in those beds or they would be kept awake at night by the noise and then woke up early with any early risers making coffee……
