"Friendly lady handed us the keys and wished us a pleasant stay. The apartment was very clean. We cooked dinner both nights and had no problems. There is a grocery store and a gas station next door which is nice. The town was charming and all within walking distance. I would stay here again."

"Catherine's house was beautiful and spacious. We were 13 people -- three families, all siblings and cousins. there was plenty of space for us to gather, and we especially enjoyed cooking together and gathering in the evening over (many bottles of!) French wine and Normandy cider. The home is only about 10 minutes from the town of Isigny-sur-Mer and less than 5 minutes from a grocery store, but the location itself is very quiet. We came to visit the D-Day beaches, which were also fairly close by. All of us enjoyed our stay very much -- and we loved Catherine's two friendly dogs too!"

"What a wonderful place - a simply breathtaking view of Omaha Beach - close to so many of the major WWII museums and memorials - great neighborhood restaurants and others that were very close - Sophie and Bruno checked us in and were very generous and helpful in any questions we had - many thanks to them for their generosity!! "Really beautiful and quiet place. Rooms are clean and the beds ultra comfortable. There is a heated pool on site, which unfortunately I didn't get to use as it was a brief overnight stay. Damien was very welcoming and attentive. Really lovely breakfast served - including some amazing homemade jams. Will definitely return here and highly recommend to all. "

"We had such wonderful stay here- there where 5of us and everyone had something that suited them. On arrival the host was extremely pleasant and whilst there was a language barrier we all managed to understand each other and she has leaflets to help. The ‘cottage’ itself was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a cosy rustic vibe that immediately had everyone starting to relax into the holiday. The space was well kept and clean. There was also a shared outdoor space which was great for my daughter as there were some other children there during our stay so she was able to play around with them in a safe space and there’s volleyball nets, trampolines etc plenty to entertain them. There was also a little boat that you could go on the pond with. The space at the front of the cottage had outdoor seating, sun loungers and a bbq. This was great for the evenings where we could sit at the bbq and chat with one another. The grounds are well maintained and lovely for a small walk in the mornings. Whilst it is out by itself (which aids in the peaceful quiet setting) you are not far from loads of different tourist attractions and grocery shopping by car. This place is perfect for anyone looking to get away from the rat race, reset and enjoy some peace. It is in a fab location where you can star gaze most evenings with a glass of wine. The pool is quite small if you had wanted to do lengths but it is a great size for a few people and or some small kids to keep an eye on them. 10/10"

"We found the property itself to be pretty, well equipped and furnished with comfortable beds but we had some issues. Communication wasn't great, not all messages were responded to.The lane leading to the property is very, very narrow and is not a through road. We couldn't actually get out of the car until we were alongside the gate to the property, it's that narrow but would be OK if you had a small car and were confident reversing back out onto the adjoining road. We found that the public parking was always available close to the property.Our biggest issues was that we received a message 2 days before arrival to say proper linen was an additional 50 euro, cash only on arrival; only disposable linen was supplied which we considered unusable. We took a walk the first evening only to discover that high tide brings a terrible stench to parts of the town making it very, very unpleasant to walk through, though it didn't seem to effect the marina side of down as badly. We would not consider returning."
