"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."

"Location is everything here. Property is quaint but lovely. Staff are very nice and helpful. Close to everything. Dining options in the area (walkable) are awesome. "A wonderful location that was quiet and with a wonderful view. My wife Kelly and I had a delux room that was perfect for us, and our 3 young adult children and friend had a triple, and it was the perfect reunion/graduation location that had something for everyone. Paddleboarding, kayaking and a gorgeous pool to watch surfing. Great launch for Coiba, and birding with Javier was wonderful."
