「I stayed in this lovely home for 3 nights with 9 dear friends for my bachelorette party just before getting married in Playa del Carmen! We are a group of women in our 30s and loved relaxing at the house and exploring the nearby beaches and restaurants! We also loved cooking together at the house and truly appreciated the amazing hospitality of the host! The large screened in porch area outside the kitchen upstairs was a wonderful spot to spend time together!」

「Absolutely loved this condo. From the swim out pool in the condo, to the the beautiful landscaping. The larger pool was rarely occupied. The property management was quick to fix the few issues that we had upon arrival. Location was great for getting to either side of the island, although a golf cart is definitely needed if you plan on going anywhere on a daily basis. There was a lovely dog who came to visit daily. 「This place is amazing. Our room was well designes and very comfortable. I really loved the bathroom! The room has plenty of drinking water, a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The pool is really clean and very comfortable water temp. The staff are the best part. Everyone at Isla Retreats is so wonderful. The cleaning staff is exceptional! I am so sad I am allergic to cats because I really wanted to pet them! Katy is an amazing host, she even facilitated us having a golf cart delivered...

「Ana, our house manager, was absolutely lovely! She sent me a WhatsApp 2 days before we left for our trip to greet me and get our arrival times. She was so responsive anytime we needed anything. She was the absolute best. The house itself was incredible and fit our group of 12 perfectly. We had everything we needed and more; plenty of bath towels, beach towels, toilet paper, purified water, etc! We can’t wait to return to Isla and stay at Villa Valera once more. 」

"I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay was so wonderful I just had to share it. Every staff member was friendly, polite, and always smiling. Their warmth made such a difference and really made us feel welcome. The food was amazing — we tried teppanyaki, French dishes, and everything tasted great. The restaurants were beautiful, and the cocktails at the pool bar were unforgettable. I’m not even a big drinker, but every drink was delicious! Our room was cleaned twice a day, and the staff were so thoughtful, even organizing our things neatly. Room service was fast and polite, and there were plenty of fun activities like water volleyball. My partner is very social, and soon the staff all knew us — they always greeted us with big smiles. I also appreciated that no one tried to sell us memberships or packages. We could just relax and enjoy our time. Funny enough, as I was leaving, I actually thought, I want to come back next year — maybe even as a member! Before booking, I saw some mixed reviews from 2023, but everything on this trip exceeded my expectations. The service, food, and atmosphere were all perfect. I highly recommend this resort — it truly made our vacation unforgettable."
