「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「What an amazing find…a beautifully maintained hotel in the heart of one Scotland’s most beautiful places.
The rooms are a good size but the attraction is that they are exquisitely decorated and well-equipped. There are no staff on the premises but the rooms are serviced each day and the amazing variety of breakfast ingredients (including locally-sourced smoked salmon and cheeses as well as granola, fresh rolls, croissants and preserves, juice etc.)」

「The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to meet us because we had a problem and couldn't get there until 10 PM. Can't say enough positives about them. Because of where it is Wi-Fi and Internet is somewhat limited」
