“The staff were so lovely and welcoming, it made us want to stay longer! The hotel is charming, food was great and there were beautiful walks right outside the door! Parking (always a good bonus) was free and convenient. We loved it here!”

“Proper stay for a night or two. Very friendly welcome at the bar. Room was recently renovated with a good mattress and clean bathroom.
Improvement points: Hallway to the rooms smells to smoking. Service at breakfast could be improved, the lady seemed in a bad mood.”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“What an amazing find…a beautifully maintained hotel in the heart of one Scotland’s most beautiful places.
The rooms are a good size but the attraction is that they are exquisitely decorated and well-equipped. There are no staff on the premises but the rooms are serviced each day and the amazing variety of breakfast ingredients (including locally-sourced smoked salmon and cheeses as well as granola, fresh rolls, croissants and preserves, juice etc.)”
