“The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park.”

“The uniqueness of the property was very inviting. Everything about the stay was very comfortable and it's a very quiet location.I was able to go for a nature walk just .1 miles away and bike to a beach that was 2.4 miles away. It was a bit of a distance from Bar Harbor but a lovely scenic drive to get there and back. Alan was a wonderful host and we did a lovely campfire one of the evenings.”

“The house was very nice and spacious. Plenty of sleeping space for our 5 adults. The house had tons of cleaning supplies, towels, and paper towels and toilet paper. Only a short drove to Arcadia and plenty of other sites including the water front within walking distance. Overall I would recommend to others especially if you have a larger family.”

“We loved our stay in Prospect Harbor - everything was great. We were nervous not having AC, but the windows had screens so we were able to leave them open and feel cool all night. We were given the wrong door code but customer support was able to promptly get us the right code, even though we showed up at 11PM. Highly recommend, we will be returning!”
