“Very nice hotel”

“La personne qui nous a accueilli est particulièrement sympathique et très serviable. Un petit bémol pour la chambre non climatisée. Le ventilateur n'a pas suffit a abaisser suffisamment la température.”

“Malgré un état de propreté tres bien, l’hôtel est totalement dans son jus. Tout est vieillot avec une peinture qui s’écaille au mur. Dommage car je pense que cet hôtel a eu ces moments de gloire. Demanderait à être refait car du potentiel avec les petits jardinais qui sont devant les chambres sont un plus pour les beaux jours mais l’hôtel n’a pas de bar ce qui est également dommage. ”

“Personnel à l'acueil trés porfessionnel et sympathique. Etat de la chambre trés moyen, propre mais tâches sur la couette blanche, moisi sur le tour de la baignoire avec une tartinée de silicone pour masquer les dégats. J'ai bien vu un effort sur les équipements et la déco mais c'est un hôtel qui doit être entierement refais à mon avis”

“This is an absolutely wonderful property located outside the busy town center of Bourges but within walking distance. It is a beautiful home run by the family with 4 nicely appointed and cozy rooms upstairs. Parking on site and breakfast and a nice coffee and pastry salon round this wonderful place out.”

“A last minute stopover to break up a long trip and for €65 we could not have asked for more. The check in process was smooth and easy. The receptionist spoke very good English (after my painful attempt at checking us in in french!) The rooms were exceptionally clean. The beds were extremely comfy and we slept so well! The car park is plentiful and secure. And despite arriving late in the evening we managed to park up with ease. Plus it's just off the main road so great for ease! Whilst we……

“No outlets in room to charge your phone. No coffee machine in room. But the decor was lovely and classy. The breakfast was underwhelming no cheese eggs or meat. However the croissants were huge and amazing. The woman who checked me in was kind and accommodating. But the male staff at breakfast was standoffish and not warm or welcoming. The grounds could use some more landscaping befitting of a chateau.”

“Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights 6-8 July 2026. all ok 1st night hotel is very central and staff were friendly. 2nd night the air conditioning unit developed a leak. I could hear a dripping in the room and by the time I located the drip I discovered it was directly above my suitcase and a pair of shoes were completely soaked. I switched off the air con and the dripping continued at such a rate we could not sleep, also the room was now stiflingly hot. I went down to reception and asked could be……

“Spotlessly clean. Excellent staff. Pool was covered for our stay. What made this stay memorable was the restaurant attached. One of the best 3 course meals I can remember and unbelievable value for money. Fantastic wine list to boot. If you stay here you must try the restaurant. The hotel was not busy but the restaurant was full. The breakfast in the separate hotel dining room was only average but acceptable. The bed I found much too hard so I did not sleep that well. I would stay here again……
