「It was an incredible experience to live alone in an abandoned village in Mani. You feel far away from everything and it is a nice feeling. The nearest beach is about 25 minutes driving. The house is always fresh downstairs in the main bedroom. For the persons who like to hike, unfortunately, a fire occured in august 2021 so it is not very pleasant to walk in the countryside around. 「All was perfect and there was a hidden gem swim area just down the hill. One thing to take note is you have to know which particular suite/villa you book as not all come with the ability to use the beautiful pool that is shown in pictures. I was not clear on that when I booked my reservation (could have been user error) however the extra swim area the owner pointed out more than made up for it. Gorgeous. You do have to drive through some pretty windy steep slopes to get to the area, however...
