Great little family run hotel. Close to Ito town and seafront. Bit of a climb up the hill, but worth it for the view!
The food was amazing - great, hearty Japanese style breakfast and evening meals were also fantastic - fresh fish and seafood, cooked to perfection. The room was comfortable and clean with an awesome view out over the town and ocean.
Tip: if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on a lower floor as it can get very windy at nights and therefore kinda noisy.
There is an outdoor and an indoor private onsen for hotel guests. Try it out!
The Inn is definitely better suited for the Japanese tourist. The owners, who were very nice, spoke very little English, and the rooms and meals (delicious) definitely Japanese. My wife and I really enjoyed the experience, but others might not. Stairs up to the Inn and more up to the rooms were a burden to us seniors. But would not be a problem in our youth. Better for the traveler with a car rather than train to be able to explore local areas.
