What a place!

A nice house in a beautiful scenery, a fine place to explore the region. Nearest supermarket at six kilometres, the only disadvantage.

Location location location

The house is lovely with big rooms and the most stunning view. Plunge pool very welcome - with temperatures above average for the season. The lack of upstairs loo would be the only minor criticism. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and with excellent entertainment from the wildlife. It is a drive to anywhere from here for shopping/restaurants etc but just beautiful. Thank you to our host Philippe.

Great week at this rustic retreat - the house is ideally situated for exploring the Pyrenees. The host Philippe was very responsive, accomodating and gave us fantastic recommendations. The house and outside areas are very comfortable and the pool was really appreciated when the sun came out! We had a very special evening drinking wine in the garden in a thunderstorm storm and hearing the stags bellowing in the garden when the rain stopped. A great area for walking amd wildlife. Un Séjour Inoubliable au Cœur des Pyrénées

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Philippe. Les enfants ont adoré profiter de la piscine avec une vue imprenable sur le Mont Cagire. L'environnement est d'une tranquillité rare, à tel point que nous pouvions observer des biches dans les champs en contrebas le soir venu. Nous avons également pu faire de belles randonnées en famille, comme la boucle du Mont Cagire, le Gouffre d'Enfer, et le Lac d'Oô. Les activités sportives ne manquent pas non plus, avec du canoë sur la Garonne et du parapente. En bref, un séjour mémorable !

Bel endroit, bel environnement.

La maison esr très agréable. Tout y est donc rien ne manque ! L'extérieur ne démérite pas bien au contraire. On regrette juste (mais Philippe n'y peut rien) l'éclairage public allumé toute la nuit dans un si petit village. Mais cela ne vous empêchera pas d'observer toutes les étoiles et la voie lactée !

Een super vakantie in de natuur

Het huisje is perfect! Netjes en goed uitgerust. De keuken heeft alles om lekker eten te maken, de badkamer is modern en buiten zijn er verschillende plaatsten om te zitten, te eten, te lezen… heerlijk! De eigenaar is niet ter plaatsen, maar de communicatie verloopt heel vlot. Hij is heel vriendelijk en reactief en heeft veel goeie tips over activiteiten in de regio. De rust die we daar gevonden hebben heeft ons deugd gedaan! Heel erg bedankt!

Cosy and secluded house

It's the perfect location to get away from it all. The house is located at the edge of the village with unobstracted views to the mountains and meadows. The kitchen is supplied with every kitchenware you'll ever need and the bed is very comfortable. Phillippe is eager to help you with any questions and very knowledgeable of the area. It's an old house, so dust and spiderwebs are to be expected. And naturally some things may not be as perfectly fitted or built as in a sterile, professionally managed property, but we liked this and only mention it so that other guests may be aware of it. The goats, as mentioned in other reviews, are constantly nearby, but the chimes of the bells are fairly unobstrusive and keep the goats from calling each other. One can sleep with open windows without beeing disturbed by the sounds. We very much look forward to returning

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la maison de Philippe, une vieille bâtisse en plein coeur de village rénovée avec goût. Boutiques et marché sont à quelques minutes de route en voiture. Baignades dans un lac, canyoning, randos, visites d'abbaye, Luchon à 45 min... le bonheur!

A beautiful and peaceful retreat

A charming rustic farmhouse, set in the hills. We were lucky with the weather: a week of mostly 35 degree temperatures. Philippe left out a fantastic book of local walks. We walked around 2.5 hours most days despite the heat, encountering pretty villages and wonderful vistas. The farmhouse itself is well equipped and with a lovely view of the hills. Little noise except for the birds and gentle clanking of sheep bells. A really lovely retreat.

Séjour champêtre très agréable

Nous avons passé un séjour fort agréable dans la maison de Philippe. L'endroit est très calme et bien situé pour les balades, au coeur des Pyrénées que l'on peut visiter en voiture. Le logement est très fonctionnel, spacieux, et bien réaménagé dans cette vieille maison pleine de charme. Philippe et sa compagne nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse.
