Historical onsen ryoken

The onsen Ryoken is a famous one in Japan as the Japanese Emperors had stayed at the estate for a few times. We stayed at a room with private onsen which is excellent. The food was also great and we had a great time.

外観、内装が素晴らしいと思い、予約しました。予め『外観なし』と記載されていたので、期待はしていませんでしたが、あまりにも荒れ果てた庭？だったので、一緒に旅行した母親は文句タラタラでした。 旅館に泊まると、売店での買い物が楽しみの一つですが、17時閉店の為、行こうと思ったら『終わりました』と言われ、がっかりです。 お食事処や、大浴場までの距離も長く、老齢の母には辛かったようです。 部屋風呂にも温泉がひいてあり、ゆったりした浴室だったのが、救いでした。

なかなか良い体験でした

今回は宿泊客が多かったせいか、食事がいつもの雄峰ではなく、奥の広間でした。広間に行く途中のバー共々古く趣きもあり、得した気分になる体験でした。サービスや料理はいつものいい意味で安定したクオリティでゆっくり休むことができました。

今回も快適に過ごさせていただきました

広くて快適な部屋、散歩にちょうど良い庭、スタッフの気配りが心地よく、5月に続き、2度目の訪問です。今回部屋風呂が前回に比べて広かったので良かったです。食事も前回同様、美味しく、量も多過ぎず我が家には丁度良いです。食事の質を上げて更なる高級路線を目指すか、今のまま、親しみやすい高級感を楽しめる路線にするのか、中途半端な感じはします。

大変落ち着いたホテル

緑多い広々とした敷地、趣のあるお部屋、館内全体、特に廊下がゆったりと設けられており、その余裕感たっぷりの空間を常に感じながら心底ゆっくりと過ごす事ができました。是非また利用したいと感じられるホテルです。

庭園は素晴らしい

温泉、その他の施設は二重丸。 皺が寄った廊下の絨毯は残念。 晩飯も期待した程では無い。 庭園は素晴らしい。

まるで別荘のような旅館

壮大な庭園を中心とした、小さな集落のような旅館です。岩崎家の別荘を生かしながら、当時の優雅な暮らしに思いを馳せながら、別宅のように過ごせるのがここの魅力です。

庭の素晴らしい宿。

素晴らしい庭の案内が20分くらい行われた．とてもよかった。 食事は、期待ほどではなかった。 次回は純日本的な部屋に泊まりたいと、思いました。趣があってよさそうです。今回のベットの部屋も広くて清潔感にあふれていた。

和溢れる旅の常宿

高級感があり快適な時間を過ごすことができました。特に内風呂が最高です。 ただ、女中さんは高齢な方が多く、勘繰り過ぎかもしれないですが、言葉が嫌味に感じる事が多々ありました。 悪気は無かったのだとは思いますが…。
