Not the cleanest nor the most well maintained hotel at all. It’s clear the owners (seems family owned) are doing the minimum necessary to retain business and save money. If you’re in the area and need a place to leave your belongings while you’re out and about, this location will work for that.

I stayed here all night and it was absolutely wonderful for the price. I have no negative things to say the staff was nice. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and then we got up the next morning and continue on our trip.

We had a 4 night stay. We had to change rooms 2 nights in a row as both rooms had an AC unit that did not cool. The 3rd room we received was more renovated and AC was very cool. The hotel is in major need of an update — it feels very dirty. Breakfast is inedible and the pool looked gross. Staff was okay. Wouldn’t stay again.

Staff was extremely kind and friendly. Hotel smelled clean. My room had a jacuzzi tub in middle of bedroom- odd. Hotel was in a perfect location for a solo traveler. Many things around and easy to get to. Breakfast was typical continental and ready early in the morning before my departure. I would stay here again.

The room smelled terrible and so does the carpets.. they triggered my allergies. The table , the chair the tv stand all broken and have rotten wood spots allover them, there were all sorts of dark stains on the window curtains, loveseat, walls… just nasty all the way around.

Photos on the Hotels.com site look better that the actual hotel, somewhat misleading,needs to be updated and the staff was pitiful. The shower head and devertervale leaked and sprayed water everywhere.

I was highly disappointed with Comfort Inn. Throughout the years, of staying at this hotel, but at a different location in MD, is very much cleaner and up to date. I had decided to give this one a try, bad choice. This one in particular located in Pearl, MS, the first night I had checked in, the room had dead roaches, the room smelled as if it was vacant (mildew, musty). The bathtub/shower stall had mold. I became very nauseous and wanted to vomit. I don’t recommend anyone to book at this location. If it wasn’t for JSU homecoming week, I would’ve just checked out to find another hotel to stay at, but several hotels in the surrounding area were completely sold out due to the homecoming events. I will continue to book and stay only at Marriott hotels due to their great reviews, cleanliness and renovations with my expectations that are always met, never disappoints.
