Our Home Away From Home!
For the past 21 years I gather a group of girlfriends for Springing the Blues Festival, and have rented this little blue cottage several times, and keep coming back! It is quaint, clean, and the host, Jean, is an outstanding host. Very friendly and accommodating. I'm always sad when I miss my window to rent it for "me and my gal's "rights of spring"!

You’ll love it!
Much, much closer to the beach access than I imagined! 150 yards maybe. House is just as charming in person as in the photos. Courtyard was also very nice. If you’ve got a family with 8 to 10 members the house and the rear guest suite are perfect.

Excellent location: half a block from the ocean. Charming home with an 'old' Florida feel. Very clean. Quick communication with owner. Clear instructions as to check in and check out. Would booked this home again...and again...and again! We were an extended family of 10 in town for a family wedding. One part of our family had a different departure date. We were able to book the main house for the bulk of our family and the onsite suite for the early departure group. This helped us save money and still be together. The location to the beach was perfect. The street is quiet. We appreciated the use of the boogie boards and beach chairs. Everything we could possibly need was available in the home. The beds slept great and there was plenty of towels and linens. We loved our stay. Thanks, Jean.

Cute cottage, great location
This adorable cottage was the perfect overflow place for our Thanksgiving family get-together. It was big enough in the kitchen and the dining room for a family Thanksgiving dinner. After dinner, we were in a beautiful location to walk on the beach. There’s a green space right at the end of the street that our grandchild loved. The host was gracious and responded to our questions. We can highly recommend this cottage!

Old Florida style beautifully decorated!
This 1934 Cottage must have been professionally decorated! The furnishings were lovely and wonderfully comfortable. I found the rental clean and well supplied. The rich vintage paneling and beautiful landscaping was an incredible treat. Two min to a beach handicapped access was very much appreciated.

Great location
We just checked out this morning. It was an amazing trip to see our son Graduate from UNF. Let’s start with the property manager, she was amazing to deal with and extremely accommodating. We reached out to her prior to checking in with a few questions and Jean answered us quickly and was extremely responsive and helpful. The house: the house was a very old cottage but was neat and clean. We had several people there getting ready for our son’s graduation and NEVER came close to running out of hot water. The furniture is older but not an issue. Everyone raved about the beds and slept like champs. The backyard is a great spot to hang with family and friends. It comes with a tiki bar and fire pit. Location: when they tell you it’s close to the beach they were not kidding. The 2 grandmas each had a boot on their feet from broken bones and they actually hobbled there without a major problem. We will be back 👍

Family fun
Our family had a wonderful time in Jacksonville! Many times we felt as if we were the only family there. We walked barefoot across the brick street into the grassy park and across the boardwalk directly to the beach. The house has great charm and gave us 1 week with our adult kiddos. It was so nice being under 1 roof again. I’m so grateful!! You will be pleased if you choose to book this home.
