Pleasantly surprised by the environment here. Rustic little town with good number of vacant shops, yet clean and charming with its old west feel. Hotel’s maintenance hasn’t kept up with its wear and tear, but overall it’s clean and staff is friendly. Really good value too!

Jamestown gem

The room was very clean and cozy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our one complaint was the wifi was very weak in our room, which was the furthest from the front lobby (211). The weather was very hot but our room stayed cool and the ceiling fan helped to keep us comfortable while we slept. Even though the hotel is very old, it was a very quiet night and we never heard any road noise. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great place to stay

We really liked this place right in the heart of Jamestown so everything was right there. It is a older hotel so different from the usual hotel or motel experience. Breakfast basket was nice it was brought up in the evening so you could just wake up and have breakfast in your room. Customer service was amazing I will definitely stay here again

The room, bathroom was very clean, well decorated, plenty of towels, toiletries. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful!! When I asked for an extra blanket, within less than two minutes. I was given 2 blankets!! There is no kitchen, dining area for breakfast. However, what they do for their guests is beyond even better!! I received 2 large baskets full of single cold/hot cereals, organic milk, orange juice. Containers of muffins, cinnamon rolls and croissants. Fresh apples, oranges, tangerines!!! Plenty of bowls, napkins, utensils. They provide enough breakfast for every morning that their guests are there, in abundance!! I brought so much home with me! I highly recommend this amazing hotel!

It is an old family owned hotel but it was great…the staffs are amazing and accommodating and very reasonable price. We stayed for 2 nights for our Sequioa and Kings Canyon Park adventure. It was 1 1/2 hr from the park…worth driving than paying $200 more from were we stayed.

The staff is very friendly. Rooms are outdated, but there’s not a lot of business in Jamestown. The bed is very springy and a bit uncomfortable. However, the couch was comfy, and the kitchen was really nice. You get what you pay for, it was a very quiet room. It was nice to have our own space. Lots of room. Parking was manageable, but a little crowded however we had a spot for every night.

Perfect weekend stay

Beautiful. Quaint cottage. Roses. Fruit. Staff was amazing. Recommended things to do, pointed out dining and entertainment.

Cozy and well loved old place.

Very old building. Needs repairs but is well loved. Cleaning under the beds is needed. The staff were very eager to please and seemed happy to work there. We will stay here again.

The cottage is cute but does need some repair. The mattress is hard. Some make prefer that. Breakfast is prepared and brought to you the night before which is a cute basket filled lots of goodies. Staff is great, friendly, and helpful. Outside the cottage does need to be cleaned up.

Our stay was nice, it seems there are long term residents there. The property needs a junk hauler and a lot of maintenance. If it was fixed up it would be a very cute location. The staff were nice and the breakfast baskets were very good. We would love to stay again if the place were cleaned up and the garden looked like the pictures on the web.

This building has been standing since 1922. Once a brothel. The bedding was clean & comfortable. The shower was extremely small & so was the toilet area. If you're looking for somewhere safe & just need to sleep, this is the place. Keep in mind there are only stairs & no elevator if you can't walk up stairs. Very nice staff & not noisy at all.
