"Staff"

"Papagayo was a clean and beautiful property. But be prepared to spend. There's no all inclusive feature. The pools were clean from what we could see, although this is not an adults only resort and there are kids everywhere so you never know how clean the pools really are. It's not close to many shop but if you venture off into town, it's $30 usd both round trip. There is a burger spot down the hill that I wish I knew about. they pretty much told us nothing was in walking distance and that's so you can spend at their resort. Food was good and so were the drinks. All and all a good trip"

"Our group of 15 had a very enjoyable stay at the villa. Elise was helpful in getting us set up. Everything was as is shown in the photos! We would definitely stay here again!"

"Pool was not clean, stove burners only two worked, toilet seat was broken, pool light stayed on until we called about it, did not get proper instructions on how to operate items throughout the house (ie appliances), wifi was weak and speratic. Would not rent here again based on the price point that was paid. "

"We stayed in a 2-bedroom garden view villa. The grounds are very nice, yet the pool at the resort itself (not the ones at the beach club, which is a totally separate area) looked abandoned and not well-maintained. The villa was generally clean, but there was A LOT of wear and tear. There is nothing the resort's cleaning staff can do with the state of the villa; it needs a renovation. This is not a 4-star property for sure (though I am quite confident it was 5-7 years ago); now it gives a 2-3-star feel. Everything that can be scratched is scratched; everything will benefit from an extra coat of paint or two; windows and doors are either not working or working funny. As other reviewers mentioned, the AC works in bedrooms but not in bathrooms or the living area. This was an architectural decision that has pros and cons - you just need to be aware."
