"Property was very nice. House was spotless, back yard was nice and fenced which was good for the dogs. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Good AC and nice hot tub. Kitchen had the necessities with updated appliances. House is tucked away with one close neighbor who we saw but had no contact with. It is a little walk to the "water". Actually, not much water. Host sent a message a few days before scheduled arrival the lake level was a little low. About 8' low. Nothing that could have been helped but something to check if expecting "waterfront or water access".There is a public access / beach about 3 -4 miles away that was a great place to spend some time."

"The house and the location were awesome. We loved the fact that it was at the end of the road and a trail was right beside it,and it was in the woods. The deep cove was so nice,and convenient for swimming and Kayaking. We were able to access the cove and tie up the boat to take a break. Much of Hartwell is really low. but this cove was deep.Adults,kids,and grandkids had a great time. We will be back."
