Studio for 2-4 people on a south-facing slope with a beautiful view

The studio is located on the ground floor of Chalet Barbara on a sunny southern slope above Jaun in Gruyere. The view of the valley and the opposite mountains is much appreciated, as it has similarities with the rose garden in the Dolomites. The apartment or Studio is also happy to work by individuals, for example, to do research, u. at the. used, because here it is quiet and you can go directly from the house into nature. Directly behind the house begins the alpine area and mountain region. In winter, the access road ends here.

Amazing view perched high above valley
We loved our stay at Chalet Barbara. Our host, Thomas, was so very helpful, providing immediate responses to every request or question. The apartment was so well equipped and provides incredible views over the valley below including the village of Jaun. We will long treasure our memories of this wonderful place.

Traumhafte Lage, Ausgangspunkt für tolle Wanderungen
Die Wohnung liegt am Hang über dem Dorf, mit Blick auf die Gastlosen (Kalksteinfelsen wie in den Dolomiten). Die Landschaft dort ist großartig, die Wohnung ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Die vom Gastgeber zusammengestellten Informationen waren sehr hilfreich. Die Wohnung hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen.

Die Kommunikation lief hervorragend. Die Anfahrt ist etwas tricki (sehr eng). Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt. Uns fehlte im Chalet eine gemütliche Ecke z-B. zum spielen. Polsterauflagen im Essbereich auf der Holzbank wären schön. Die Aussicht bei klarem Wetter ein Traum.

Wir sind mit dem Appartement und den Kontaktpersonen sehr zufrieden. Der Aufenthalt war durchweg positiv. Uns hat nichts gefehlt. Der Ausblick vom Appartement ist herrlich! Magnfique environnement , plein de promenades pas loin , hyper calme , logement agréable et fonctionnel , rien ne manque sauf un lave-vaisselle et un vase pour des fleurs. . Les larges balcons du 1er font que même pendant les journées ensoleillées il fait sombre et il faut allumer. Amoureux de la montagne et du calme ce chalet est fait pour vous. A recommander.

Lovely location
What a great place. Excellent cons from the start with the owner. This was a lovely chalet, in a great location looking down on the village. With beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Chalet had everything you needed and was very clean. Not that we used much due to wonderful things to do in the surrounding area. Only downside was the main bed, which could do with a new mattress. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Das Appartment war wie beschrieben, und für uns zu dritt perfekt. Schöne Einrichtung, sauber und in der Küche war alles notwendige vorhanden. Der Gastgeber hat sich um alles gekümmert und es gab sogar ein Willkommensgeschenk. Landschaftlich ein Traum! Wenn man die steile Anfahrt geschafft hat, hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf Jaun und zu beiden Seiten des Örtchens gibt es viele gute Wandermoglichkeiten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Chalet Barbara vom 24.06 - 01.07.2023
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und die Aussicht ist umwerfend. Bei herrlichem Wetter konnten wir viele Ausflüge unternehmen. Besonders toll war die Wanderung durch die Jauntalschlucht. Auch die Aareschlucht ist toll. Eine Fahrt über den Grimselpass bis nach Täsch, dann mit dem Zug nach Zermatt zum Matterhorn - wunderschön. Vielen Dank nochmal an Familie Mast für den freundlichen Empfang und an Herrn Woznik für die leckere Flasche Wein. Wir empfehlen diese Ferienwohnung gerne weiter. LG Familie Maiwald

Chalet Barbara is a perfect spot to 'get away from it all', amidst the beautiful Swiss Alps, without 'breaking the bank'! One has to be a careful driver on the narrow, winding road to the Chalet. We enjoyed our stay very much!
