「Everyone loved our stay. The hot tub was even better than expected with the unexpected freezing temp and snow in April. House was clean and lake views were awesome. Plenty of space for families to spread out. We really enjoyed coming back to the warm and inviting space after our time at Legoland.」

「Check in was super easy. The host messaged me the code for the door lock on our day of check in and no issues. The room is above a steakhouse in an older, Victorian style home. The room has everything you need. A bed, a smart tv, a toilet and a shower. The room was clean when we arrived and the shower had different shampoos and soaps in it. 「Highly recommended 」

「Secluded, quiet idyllic area, ample space for sleeping/bedrooms available, we were 10 people, clean, game room, small-ish kitchen but fully functional, bathrooms great, hot tub great, pool closed, I loved that there is a playground for kids but we were all adults, restaurants and groceries within 10-15 minute drive, we stayed for a Spartan race at Mt. Vernon only 12 minutes away, would definitely request a stay again!」

「House 1 flight down from street level. Outdoor deck is a flight of stairs down (wary if you have little kids)Kayaks another 4 more flights down. didnt use them, but looked fun. Jetty quite high to launch kayaks.House was clean, uncluttered and modernly furnished. Communication was excellent, and owner let us stay extra 1.5 hrs.」

「Our stay was amazing. We needed a place for out of town relatives and friends, and Aspen in Airmont was perfect. Clean, comfortable, and huge, with plenty of space to gather and still find a spot for some privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and that enormous deck was great. The beds were very comfortable. The property is private and yet extremely accessible.Avery was available and quick to respond to any questions .This has been one of my best VRBO experiences. 「We stayed here for 16 days in May 2025. We live locally, but we needed a place to stay while contractors repaired flood damage in our home. With everything going on at our own house, our nerves were pretty fried. Given our frazzled state, words fail to describe my gratitude for being able to stay at this home. The house is immaculate and extremely well-maintained. The gardens defy description. There were two acres of fenced-in yard for our dogs. The home and garden have several beautiful places...

「Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house....

Doug and Diane have gone out of their way in many small details and accomadations that we have not normally seen in other VRBO stays.We even found a theater in the area where we can take our dog! 「Such a magical property! I came here with some friends for my birthday weekend and we had the most incredible time. The space- both indoors and out, is even more beautiful than the pictures (which never happens!). Everything was very clean and well kept. And the property manager was very supportive and communicative throughout. Providing lots of helpful information beforehand, and stayed in touch during my stay, even over the smallest things. "We came down to check out at 10:30 in the morning. I paid a cash deposit. They can't check out until they check the room. The front desk told me 5 minutes but made me wait for almost half an hour. Halfway through, I asked her how long it would take because I had to go to a meeting urgently. She gave me a very nonchalant attitude. It was already 11:10 when I got the deposit. What made me very unhappy was that I was the only one who wanted to check out. Do you want me to wait for half an hour in the morning?"
