Our room was updated and modern. It had a nice gas fireplace that takes a chill out of the room and adds ambience. Really cute house on the lake. Clean. Private. There were loons out every morning! We took the kayaks out in the evening for a relaxing paddle. The only thing I would prepare for is that the nearest gas station/convenience store is about a 10 to 15 minute drive
