We had an excellent time at Trail End’s B&B. The hosts, Denise and Ken, were great; very communicative, helpful, and super accommodating. The breakfast was unbelievable as was Denise’s sangria. We can’t wait to return as it was a quick visit.

Ken and Denise are great hosts. The choice of morning breakfasts was very good and the food was excellent. Close enough to the center of the town, but far enough to be out of the weekend traffic. Clean and well-appointed room. This was a good choice for our first visit to Jim Thorpe.

Denise and Ken were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful with helping us navigate the town. We stayed in the Opera room and it was beautiful and clean! The private shower and soaking tub were fabulous to have duringour visit. What's the options to choose from? The breakfast menu. Breakfast was delicious and served on time!

Friendly owners who treat you like family! The wonderful breakfast and the homemade snacks and treats kept you full! They gave great recommendations of what to see & do in Jim Thorpe! We've stayed in a lot of B and B's over the years. This one was one of the best ones we've experienced!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway. Staying at the trail end bed and breakfast made all the more special. We were greeted with nothing but smiles and gracious hosts. Our breakfast were absolutely delicious and held us over till dinner. The space is very comfortable and close to all the amenities around town. We felt right at home. There is a hiking trail behind the house and it makes it so convenient. We are already looking forward to coming back.

This was our first bed and breakfast experience and it did not disappoint! Ken and Denise are phenomenal hosts. The house is in the perfect location, not too close to town, but close enough to walk everywhere. We loved that the backyard has the creek running through it and you’re able to walk right out the back yard and onto a hiking trail. The house is very clean and well maintained and the rooms are the perfect mix of historic charm with modern amenities. They are super personable people that you could hang out with if you wanted or you have plenty of ample space to do your own thing as well. I could have conversations for hours about cars and construction with Ken. And if you want the best breakfast in Jim Thorpe, you’re going to have to stay at Trails End Bed & Breakfast because Ken cooks up one of the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! And you definitely won’t need lunch afterwards. Denise’s evening desserts are extremely good and hard to pass on. Overall, extremely satisfied, and it was much better of an experience than I ever anticipated. If we are ever back in Jim Thorpe, this will definitely be where we stay again!

Great Bed and Breakfast

Amazing Place with even more amazing hosts. The breakfast is unmatched, plus a-lot of food. Stayed in Broadway room, probably the smallest that is offered, super nice and clean. Also really nice and updated bathroom. Great backyard with 2 fire-pits and off street parking.

Our stay in the Switchback Bed & Breakfast was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The decor of the house, the features throughout, welcome cheese and wine, and breakfast were excellent touches. As if those features weren’t enough, the proprietors, Denise and Ken, are excellent hosts who care about their guests. Don't miss their helpful information about the area and the delicious breakfast options created each morning of your stay!

Denise and Ken are top notch innkeepers! We were treated so well, and the property is just gorgeous! You can walk to everything in Jim Thorpe from here. Breakfast and fresh baked goods were amazing plus we met some really nice people who were there the same weekend. What a joy! Would definitely return, maybe during warm weather to enjoy the yard/firepit and nearby trails.

A nice couples getaway

We had a wonderful stay! Ken and Denise are wonderful hosts at their B&B. The home is beautiful! Our room was comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities and special touches including wine and cheese and baked goodies. The made to order breakfast was just fantastic and they really go out of their way to make that a memorable experience! We would definitely recommend this B&B and will stay again if we make our way back to Jim Thorpe.

Awesome Time

The Trails End Bed and Breakfast was by far the most enjoyable stay we have experienced at a B&B. This beautifully restored historic home takes you back in time providing comfort integrated with modern amenities. The details such as choice of breakfast (excellent breakfast), wine and cheese, coffee bar, and baked goods offered daily, far exceed the expectations of the typical B&B. Ken and Denise do an exceptional job. We will be back.

Amazing Bed and Breakfast!

Very beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast but very happy that we did. Ken and Denise made you feel very comfortable and went out of their way to make our stay there a great experience. The breakfasts were the best we ever had. Lovely home with very nicely remodeled and furnished rooms done with excellent care, materials, and craftsmanship. Wonderful hosts, and an incredible breakfast each morning. About a 20 minute walk to the train station, which we did each day and never touched our car the whole weekend. When we stay in Jim Thorpe again, it will be here again if at all possible.

Denise and Ken are amazing hosts, and their charming B&B is truly lovely. They’ve thought of everything down to the last detail. We were greeted with so much warmth, cheese and wine, desserts and snacks, and the breakfasts were incredible. With portions that easily got us through the day until dinner! Ken is a fantastic cook! Lovely B &B stay in Jim Thorpe

Bnb house is gorgeous and fully updated. It was walkable to downtown. My room (opera suite) was large and had an amazing bathroom with separate tub and shower. The backyard was like a fairyland. Breakfast at 9 each morning was fantastic, coffee, tea, juice, fruit, and your choice of about 9 different breakfasts. You won't go hungry. The hosts renovated the house themselves, it is beautiful. Parking was off street.

The home is beautiful, spotless, and so thoughtfully decorated, creating the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the town. Every detail reflects the care and pride the owners put into making each guest's stay special. Breakfast each morning was incredible—not only delicious, but clearly prepared with love! Sitting down to a homemade meal while enjoying great conversation made us feel right at home. What truly sets Trails End apart is the kindness of the hosts.
