“Loved the charm of this old house. The host was fabulous to work with. I gave it three stars only because it is an old house which still is in the renovation stage and it still needs some work. It worked perfectly for our family. It is not appropriate for those who have trouble climbing stairs. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if allowed to do so. ”

“There was plenty of space and the space was tastefully designed and decorated. The fireplace was warm and cozy. We had everything we needed and we had quick and easy to downtown and the riverfront areas. Also, our host was always quick to respond to inquiries. ”

“We decided to have our family Christmas at this home. To be honest it’s even better in person which most ppl say and it’s true! We have 4,3 and 2 year old grandchildren plus 2 newborns. We all felt like it was the perfect layout for our family. The kids had plenty of room to play, the hot tub was nice and warm the games kept everyone with some type of activity to enjoy. “We had 8 adults and 5 children in our group for 3 nights here for a memorable Hawkeye football family weekend. It's older, eclectic and minimalist (kind of a frat house vibe) and could definitely use some TLC. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the driveway is quite steep so we were glad it wasn't icy. We did have a plumbing problem, but Elias was responsive and got a plumber on site the same day (which we VERY much appreciated). We had lots of room for all of us, and we even had plenty of……
