“Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. On top of this, the owners provide kayaks and boats you can use to go into the water. Spacious cabins, and we were even granted an additional one complimentary. Overall……

“Our stay at the JEMH Cottage was everything we wanted it to be. Our one daughter and son-in-law were with us and their three daughters ages 17, 8, 6 and our younger daughter and son-in-law and their 1year old daughter. They all said they had the “the best time ever. Everyone had comfortable beds to sleep in, even the 1 year old had a pack-n-play available for her. The cottage was very clean inside. “I arrived late and was greeted with a smile and welcome. The bunkie is cute and comfortable. The view from the porch is lovely. I enjoyed the sunsets, sunrises, and a tranquil soft rainfall one afternoon. One morning I was enjoying my tea on the porch, watching chipmunks chasing each other when a Red Shoulder Hawk swooped in and perched on the side of stairs down to the lake. “Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. “A slice of paradise! The whole experience exceeded expectations. The property is deep in the bush with a few friendly neighbours. The hosts were inviting, caring and overall great people. Our dog had glorious freedom and a few friendly neighbourhood dogs to socialize with. I cannot recommend this place enough. A great time for the family. We can’t wait to visit again with a couple more little ones. Thank you for sharing your space with us!”

“Online information false/misleading and the property is completely unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues. I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. A bathroom is available in the main house, 50 or so meters away. It is not separate from the host's living space (i.e. not private). “This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. ”
