“Super cute little studio. Very clean and cozy. Wish the bed was a little bigger, and wish there was a bathroom door instead of a wooden privacy screen. But otherwise great stay! “My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and we loved it! I went food shopping at Ray’s grocery store when we arrived for snacks and drinks. Ray’s is next door to Ace Hardware and both are very close. You are within a short walking distance to downtown so we enjoyed the three coffee shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The owners were very communicative with emails. “The Amethyst Suite is a beautiful little cottage at the Whisper Canyon Ranch. It’s perfect for two people…very comfortable beds and it’s beautifully decorated. “The ocean views were stunning. It is a beautiful location, very quiet at the top of a hill overlooking Brookings OR and the Pacific Ocean including some local “haystacks”. Although it’s not a full kitchen we were able to cook breakfast, which is important to us. The owners were easy to communicate with, entering the property was easy. The bed was the most comfortable mattress we have had on our travels. Wonderful location.”

“Place was nice. It is on a main road and in a sometimes busy parking lot and next door to a 420 shop. Parking is not designated so it’s first come first serve so keep that in mind. Also the Tap house “My Place” was not open 7 days a week and on days open they close at 10pm. If your staying for a long period of time make sure to bring towels as they only provide enough for a couple nights but I had to use one for wiping up the overspray from the open shower and also one for drying dishes in the……

“In general, the space was acceptable, but there were a number of issues. The inexpensive blinds did not create a completely private space (and one was broken). The silverware in the drawer appeared poorly cleaned. The wifi network was only available the first of the three-day stay, which made being there for a work trip quite difficult. Upon entering the space, there was a distasteful smell, which I believe was the use of a fragrance to cover up a moldy smell.”
