"The staff was great and stored our baggage while we explored before check-in. The room we got had a lot of space which was great for our little ones. Not too far from a train/subway station."

"The traditional Japanese style room was great and we had a beautiful thirteenth floor view of the green lush mountains. Paddleboarding nearby was also great. Nice town and wonderful people. "
"Checkin instructions were wrong. They had to call local staff to help me enter the room. 40 min total. Once the staff was there, they solved immediately the issue"
"Great location with valley view. Clean and furnished room. 4 different themes of private onsens available including public bath. Skincare amenities available. Kaiseiki dinner and Japanese breakfast were delicious! Will stay here again. "
"Amazing.property and staff. Not westernized, so either ask for.a.western breakfast, or get the traditional japonese.

Its a little.drive from Sapporro, so.plan.a typical.chalet.on the riverside stay, or aboit $100 taxi to the big city. Great food, and the local town has a couple unique restaurants and coffee.shops.

"An amazing experience in a traditional Japanese inn! The room was expansive and spacious, and definitely try the onsen, even if it seems intimidating to try as a foreigner. I experienced it in the winter after hiking snow trails, so it really soothes the body! The surrounding resort is beautiful and easy to walk to many hotspots in the area. The non-reservation restaurant on B1F is nice, but their menu is limited in the evening, so plan ahead if you are looking for nighttime dining. "
