"We had a wonderful stay at The Houses of History. It was a unique experience, for our family as the property has a lot of character. The pool was perfect for cooling off during the hot weather and our kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. "Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich direkt am Balaton, wo man nach wenigen Schritten direkt am Ufer ins Wasser kann oder dort auf der Wiese oder einer Bank entspannen kann. Dieser Teil des Balaton ist durch die Zäune der dort stehenden Häuser eingezäunt und den Bewohnern dieses Abschnitts vorbehalten. In der Vorsaison war kaum jemand am Strand. Das Wasser ist sauber, endlos flach und einfach herrlich. Dies ist das absolute Highlight des Hauses. Wenn man möchte, kann man mit dem hauseigenen Boot aufs Wasser, was auch etwas Besonderes ist. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich, offen und bei Problemen jederzeit ansprechbar. Man mietet vom Garten gesehen die rechte Haushälfte mit kleiner Terrasse, die Seite links wird teilweise vom Vermieter und Familie benutzt. Das Haus war sehr sauber, hat hier und da aber schon bessere Zeiten gesehen (Wände, Einrichtung in Bädern). Von den drei Schlafzimmern ist eins auf den Fotos zu sehen. Eines der beiden anderen liegt mit Terrasse zum Garten hin, während das dritte im Gang des Hauses liegt. Hier passt knapp ein halbhohes Hochbett und ein Einzelbett hinein. Zur ersten Etage gelangt man über eine Wendeltreppe. Das Haus hat insgesamt eine interessante Architektur, ganz sicher etwas Besonderes. Die Lage ist super, mitten in Szantod, ein Urlaubshotspot, was man auch an den Preisen merkt."
