“We really enjoyed this unique property as we explored southern Illinois and western Kentucky. This house had everything we needed. Spacious bed, step-in shower, fast wi-fi, kitchen, and patio. It was close to the water and some shopping. The communication with the host was excellent. ”

“This cabin was just right for my husband and I. It had all that we needed to cook and enjoy a campfire. It is located on a property with several other cabins and a community area with cornhole and tether ball. Everything was clean. I would recommend to a couple who wanted neighbors and a sweet community to share the evening with.”

“Our stay was peaceful with our pets, however, we had an unexpected dog visitor (unleashed) who lunged and bit at my leashed pet. I am so very glad we followed the guidelines regarding pets for our stay as our dog could have been seriously injured by the unleashed dog.”

“Ive been down to Shawnee a few times for the New Year but this was our first stay (but hopefully not the last) at this great cabin. It was a great location - minutes from Garden of the Gods and close to our other favorite hikes in the Bell Springs area. The cabin itself was clean, with a nice kitchen, 2 nice bathrooms (with plenty of hot water) and bedrooms and fun stuff for the kiddos (my daughter loved the air hockey table). The hot tub was a real treat after a day of hiking in the cold.……
