At the “upper end” of town but within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and sights. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. A good sized, clean room with everything you could need. There was an issue with only one lift working at the time which caused some chaos and delays due to the amount of guests (cruise ship guest influx) but that was the only negative and not something the hotel could easily fix in a day as they needed to get the part in from elsewhere in the state. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.

The food in the restaurant was pretty good and the staff was friendly. It is in a very central location. However the rooms have no AC only fans. The rooms were very hot. Our bathrooms was flooded and overflowed into the hall. It had a pipe leak.

This hotel was built in 1931, probably one of the first in the town. Could use some facelift but it worked for me. the walls are a little thin and if you are loud enough you can here it. I guess it all depends who you have next to you. It was quiet for me. The breakfast's are good if you want to eat at the hotel. Location/location/location - this place is near everything. Nothing more than a five to 10 minute walk in all directions to see the main stuff. I'd give the hotel a 3.5 rating if you could on the survey.
