Always fun at HK!

We had another great stay at HK. We had a couple of minor things come up in the condo but communicating with Zach was easy via text. He was easy to reach and friendly. He sent someone up both times right away and the issues were resolved. We would definitely stay in this condo again.

Family vacation

Other than frequently finding the associated parking deck full, the property was as good as advertised. Very clean with modern appliances & furniture along with a very large balcony overlooking the ocean. I would highly recommend the property to anyone and would most definitely stay there again.

Perfect in every way!

This is our second time at Honua Kai. This time we rented a two bedroom. We love it here. The pools are great. The ocean is great. The location is great. My only disappointment is Duke’s restaurant. I’ve been to many various Duke’s locations over the years. I was disappointed in the food and drinks. Just not that tasty.

Great week in Maui!

The condo was exactly as described. Beautiful ocean views; we sat every morning and watched the whales go by and watched the sunset every evening.There was easy access to the grocery store and the kitchen had everything that we so we were able to eat in or eat out depending on our preference.Rooms were well stocked.(better than expected) and the resort had everything we could want.

Amazing condo

This condo was amazing! It was clean, beautiful view, spacious. The property also is beautiful. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Honua Kai, and this condo has been by far the best of the 3. We will be back!

We loved this place. The view from the terrace/balcony was amazing. The place is well appointed, clean, functional and a great overall experience. Service was very friendly and helpful. Grounds perfectly manicured and clean. Would definitely come back

Wonderful property

This is our second time this at the Honua Kai and it did not disappoint. The condo is fabulous and spacious. The balcony doors and view are gorgeous. My only complaint is the dryer does not work well at all. Very small problem in the scheme of things and Maui resort rentals was on it immediately to get it fixed. Great experience with them as well. I would definitely rent this property again.

Amazing!!!

We had such a wonderful time here!! It couldn’t have been more seamless. We got to check in early, and had everything we needed. Whatever we requested more of was delivered promptly. Everything was super clean and in great condition! We will DEFINITELY be staying here again!

Great for families, not ideal for adult groups

We've stayed in many places on Maui and this property is well positioned to meet the needs of families. I found it less desirable for adult groups but it was still very pleasant. The grounds and common areas are immaculate. I wish it would have been easier to rent a cabana (sold out over a month in advance) or get a lounge chair near the pool, but we managed and it was fine. The beach in front of the resort had a steep drop off so maybe not ideal for little children but great for older kids and families who want to swim. My only complaint was the condition of the unit itself. The carpet is in desperate need of replacement and it feels dirty at all times. There isn't a vacuum in the unit so it just gets worse during your stay. The guest toilet developed a leak during our stay but to the management company's credit, they had someone out immediately to make repairs. I was very impressed with their service, and their service recovery.

Great for families

The unit was spacious, clean and had beautiful views. This property is definitely designed for families so if you are looking for a quiet getaway it's probably not for you but it was perfect for us!

Lovely beach vacation

Honua Kai is a great resort, the comfort of your own condo, with the amenities of a resort. Modern, clean kitchen and bathrooms, spacious common areas. There’s a beautiful footpath along the beach that connects several resorts together, you can walk for miles. We had visited before when they had key cards, the key bracelets are a great addition, much easier for all. The only small issue we had was with parking availability during the crazy Christmas crowds. Book your stay, you won’t be disappointed!

Stunning whale watching view and very nice 2 bedroom condo.

This condo #609 has a great view and it's very quiet. It came with beach chairs and a cooler. Sadly we didn't use them since we enjoyed the pool every day with kids! Honua Kai is a great location - 1.9 miles walking to Whalers Village on the board walk. Handy to have Duke's right at your service. We enjoyed our stay in #609!

Great location, great food

We watched the humpbacks spout, and on two mornings doing full breaches, from our deck! One of the most kid friendly properties we’ve visited. Duke’s restaurant was *outstanding* !

Maui for Families and Friends!

Such a great, spacious unit with a terrific location. Loved everything about it. It's clean, quiet, well appointed, and well located. Loved the comfy beds, the lanai, the property. We're so glad we went with this condo and not a traditional hotel. Would absolutely come back!

Fantastic sunset view!

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It was very spacious and in a great location. We loved being able to watch the sunset each night from our lanai. We lave Honua Kai!

Wonderful Honua Kai unit

The Honua Kai is a fabulous resort. Beautiful and comfortable. The grounds and immaculate. The pools delightful. The unit we stayed in this visit was one of the best equipped at the resort. We have rented there about 8 times and were pleasantly surprised at the amenities. We use the kitchen a lot and loved the quality and selection of the cookware. We would highly recommend this particular unit.

Great family vacation

The property and condo were amazing . Plenty of room in the 2 bedroom condo for our family of 5 adults and 1 kid ( we utilized the pull out sofa. ) If I had any compliant in would be about the beach . The beach directly in front of the resort is very rocky and the sand is full of washed up tree branches. It is not ideal to lay out or have little ones play in , but if you walk just 5 minutes up the beach , it is beautiful ! The pool areas are great and there is plenty of areas to choose depending if you want kid friendly or quiet.
