ABOUT THE CONDO...
This AIR CONDITIONED 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom unit is located on the second floor at the POPULAR PAPAKEA BEACH RESORT. Papakea is known for having several repeat guests' that come back year after year! You are just a short walk away from the sandy beach and ocean waves! Watch the whales (during winter months), and the breathtaking Maui sunsets from the master bedroom, kitchen, living room and lanai. This condo has been renovated and features granite countertops, high-end European cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and tile flooring throughout. The gourmet kitchen includes a chef style refrigerator, dishwasher, electric cooktop, range and microwave. You will find the kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware and small appliances such as a coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. The master bedroom provides a beautiful ocean view, CAL-KING size bed, flatscreen TV, a dresser for your belongings; along with a private bathroom with a full size closet, for those longer stays. Guest bedroom provides a queen size murphy bed with drawers and a flatscreen TV. If you need additional sleeping arrangements the living area provides a sofa sleeper with a queen size pull-out bed. Both bathrooms have beautiful cabinetry and spacious tiled walk in showers. Your private lanai provides a table for four guest, where you can dine, take in the breathtaking sunsets, or simply relax with a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the views of the ocean and the property. For your comfort this unit has a tri-pod air conditioner system, which is the closest thing you can get to a central air system. There are 3 air handles, one for the living area and one for each bedroom. Each comes equipped with a remote control. You will also find a stackable washer/dryer in the hallway closet. This condo provides the basic baby gear such as a Pack and Play, High Chair and a Bouncy Chair. Upon your arrival basic "starter" set of kitchen and bath supplies. This does not include Shampoo, Conditioner or body wash, you will need to bring your own. Sometimes items like this will be found under the bathroom sinks. Once the supplies are depleted, it is up to the guest to purchase what is needed to last during the stay.
LOCATION:
Papakea Resort is located just a couple blocks from the Honoapiilani and Honokowai Beach Parks. Depending on the time of year, there is a small beach area adjacent to the property with a bridge to walk across for easy access. Centrally located in West Maui, your just 3 miles away from the heart of Ka'anapali where you will find many shops and restaurants or just a few miles north you will find, fine dining and world classes golfing in Kapalua.
ABOUT THE RESORT:
Papakea Resort has 13 acres of lush tropical gardens with foot bridges and koi ponds. The tennis courts, putting greens, shuffleboard, 2 pools and 2 hot tubs are all there for your enjoyment. You have the option of dining in or barbecuing poolside or going to any one of the numerous restaurants nearby. Papakea does charge a daily resort fee of $25.00, this includes parking for one vehicle. Papakea also provides Wifi and basic cable.
The Resort Fee of $25 per day at Papakea includes one parking permit with each additional vehicle will be charged an added cost of $5 a day. This is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:
Papakea is currently undergoing a property-wide plumbing renovation. This building is not currently under repair, however, please note the information below:
Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
Dates are subject to change. Not all buildings will be affected at the same time. We will not be hosting once work has began for this building.
We have been notified that the project is pending completion, but not guaranteed by June 2026.
