70 km east of Kuopio. Lake Kärenjärvi 10 m (length 3,5 km, breadth 1 km), shallow water, gravel bottom. Pier, own boat. Log cabin 1983, renovated 2004 and completely renovated in 2021, kitchen/living room with 1 extra bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, sauna, dressing room, shower room, open veranda.

Possibility to charge an electric car for an additional fee (consumption through the meter, payment to the owner).

A wood fired outside hot tub for rent for 6 people all year round. The availability of the tub must be checked in advance (rented between several cottages). The rent of the tub will be paid to the owner.

Campfire and charcoal grill (the customer brings the coals), also two barbecue huts in shared use by the cottages in the area.
