Fun vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. Cassondra, the concierge, was awesome! She booked our helicopter ride and mapped out a fun road trip through the up-country for us. Only minor complaints..iron wasn't working and the kitchen faucet didn't swivel which made washing dishes in the sink difficult.

The unit was exactly as described in the VRBO listing. Actually the ocean views were better than expected. The accommodations had everything we needed and the pool area was nice, clean and plenty of chairs available.

The area was great, room was nice, the kitchen was small, a little tight for family of 4. It was nice to have a washer and dryer, but there wasn't a dishwasher. Also a new thing for us since last stay was nightly parking fee, $15. Didn't care for that, got even more frustrated with parking when we got there. The slots are so tight, it was hard to park to get in and out of the car. Otherwise the stay was nice.

Just ok to stay

Bathroom does not have exhaust and hence running dryer or bathing would build up moisture on the ceiling. Not a great beach view as the apartment is located little behind. Otherwise rest all are ok.

Great Spot - Close to everything in West Maui

Kahana is a very mellow little spot not in West Maui and Royal Khana 602 was a perfect home base for exploring the rest of the island and/or just relaxing by the pool and the beach.

The condo faces North East so the sun never really blast the room, but you still get the ocean view. The pool area is great. We watched the sunset from there every night. I only have two knocks on the place at all. There was a leaky pipe in the wall that caused a minor inconvenience, but the onsite maintenance fixed it right away. The other thing was that the AC was broke and we didn’t know until we arrived on site. It was fine, but I would have liked a little warning.

Was very easy process for check in although was a little strange we needed a plunger and the front desk wasn’t able to provide it because the rental is a private rental other than that everything was great. When I contacted the office for help the sent maintenance right away.
