Oh how we loved viewing the crashing waves just off our lanai and beyond! The kitchen was nicely updated (although freezer handle broken off at lower attachment point). The blinds on the slider were in disrepair; there were louvres missing and others replaced inappropriately. At least one of these was hanging too low and caught on the carpet. There was duct take attaching a small section of the carpet at intersection with the entry tile. Check-in problem: I signed paperwork, including the surprise surcharge for AC but the desk person didn't let me know I needed to pay for AC up front (I later discovered that AC surcharge is mentioned on VRBO web page for this unit). When we arrived at the unit is was hot with the afternoon sun but we didn't have key to turn on AC. The booklet we were given at check-in did not have phone number for front desk, just the corporate number that had a recording, no live person. I had to walk back to front desk to pay for AC and ask for front desk phone number, which it turns out we needed. The ceiling fan in master bedroom was so unbalanced, we couldn't use it. I was told that someone would come the next day to fix it but they didn't come until 2 days later. I was very much disappointed that the jetted tub shown in 2 photos on VRBO web page was in a locked room off of the bathroom. The person at front desk said he would get back to me on this but did not. When we checked out, I told the front desk about the photos and weeks later, I find that they are still shown. In addition, the stopper for the bathtub in the hallway bathroom leaked. These are reasons I didn't score this unit as highly as others.
