“Property was in a great location. Island beach is so beautiful. Very well equipped and the slow cooker was a bonus. Overall nice and clean, although there were empty bottles and cans all over the fish cleaning sink which we couldnt use. This was cleaned up however at the end of our trip. Beds were a bit firm for my liking but clean and warm. Had some visits by local kangaroos, wallabies and the beautiful birds on KI and also some local chooks! A bit of a hick up when we arrived to locked doors……

“If you enjoy nature and wildlife: this is it! My daughter (20) and I spent three nights here in February. Ian provided helpful area information in advance. The BEST (in addition to the ocean view and walks on the beach) was the wildlife: various types of birds splashing in the plate of water on the deck and a "mob" of Tammar Wallabies who greeted us each morning and evening. Precious.”

“Well equipped house with large open-plan living area which was very comfortable for a four-night stay. Would have liked a can-opener to be provided. Good quiet location but handy to town and easy to get out to sight-seeing places. However I question value for money for a couple.”

“We stayed 3 nights at Fairview Beach House. Great view. Short walk to the water. Sleeps up to 11, great for a family get away. Could do with a good garden tidy up, front and back. View a bit cut off. And a bit of TLC with the internal doors. But all needs provided for and in good proximity to Kingscote for supplies. Emu Bay is a beautiful spot. Will be back one day.”

“2 couples for 4 nights- we Loved the spaciousness & location of this home. Linen & beds could be updated. We were shocked to discover we had accidentally almost caused a fire in the appliance cupboard (damage) and Dwayne was wonderful & understanding about the whole matter.”

“We loved our stay at Osprey Heights. The house is wonderfully located close to the river in Vivonne Bay and to the General Store. We had a great time exploring the surrounds and the path along the river, as well as the little pier close by. We loved bird watching and met a koala in a tree right next to the property which we nicknamed Kev. Highly recommend this property, which was very comfortable and well set up. Thank you!”

“Over about a week we stayed in a luxury tent and an ocean front villa. Both were clean and well equipped. Wifi wasn’t the best. The luxury tent had a very small kitchenette and of course didn’t have great insulation so when the sun came out the walls got warm. When it was windy the tent flapped around a bit. The villa was excellent. Spacious with everything you need and parking right by the door. There’s a private balcony but it had a privacy wall blocking any view while seated. Location is……
