“Beautiful spot!”

“Beautiful view. Cozy, well stocked, nicely decorated, clean condo. Great location in the middle of the island so not to far to visit the North or South island. Very comfortable bed. Laundry room (coin operated) a short walk from condo. Beautiful grounds and really nice and private beach. Would recommend and plan to stay again in future visit. Great communication with owners.”

“Enjoyed the size and location of the condo. It had everything to make our stay comfortable and we were able to use the well-stocked kitchen. Only drawbacks were the carpet and drapes. Both are very used and dirty. They need to be replaced”

“We loved this place! My family of 6 stayed 5 nights and the location was perfect - just steps away from the pool and beach. I could see the ocean waves as I sat on the bed in the primary suite. Everything was exactly as described and Bruce, the host, was very responsive. We would love to return during a future visit to Kauai!”

“This property is wonderful! Great views, deck outside with table and chairs to watch the sunrise, and looks down at the beautiful pool.. Everything about the condo is just perfect! I even liked the comforter for the king size bed so much I ordered one! Kitchen has everything you could need. New appliances. The washer and dryer were a real plus. Lots of extras - beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels, just to name a few. Great to have an air-conditioner even though we just needed it a couple……

The condo was very spacious with a well stocked kitchen, nice lanai, and appliances as listed. The condo had a cooler and beach chairs and boogie boards. The resort was perfect for our little kids who would not get out of the swimming pool. There's a kiddie pool with sand, family hot tub, water slides. We brought our own sand toys but you could rent beach toys/gear from a space in……

“This condo unit is right above the beach and overlooks Wailua Bay Beach. We could watch surfers, swimmers and fishermen right from our lanai. We saw whales only twice; a long distance away; but also saw a large pod of dolphins right in front. The location is an easy drive to anywhere else on the island.”

“Beautiful condo right on the beach! Clean and beautifully decorated. Full kitchen with everything you would need to cook. Comfortable king size bed with air conditioning unit in room for cooler climate for sleeping. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels all available for a fun day at the beach, oh and snorkeling gear. Excellent communication with host’s, Regina and Scott. Eastern shore location perfect for touring Southern and Northern shores easily. Walking distance to great restaurants and……

“This property was great. It was our second stay at the resort. Condo was great but we should have looked at map as it goes out to the parking lot. Our fault. Still a nice place to stay. Only downfall is no actual dressers. When you stay 10 nights, it is a bit of a hindrance. Overall we loved our stay except for the horrible weather we encountered which could not be helped.”

“A dream resort for a family!! My only wish about is… I wish the pool was heated. The pool is colder than the ocean water. Still so fun though. Also, they have 3 hot tubs. One is for kids and it’s shears full to the max!! The other two you have to be 16 to get in. I wish it was 14. I think a 14 year old is plenty mature enough to sit in a hot tub with adults. It sucked for my 15 year old to sit amoungst toddlers in a hot tub.”

“Loved our time at this property. I stayed with my husband and sister. We had plenty of room and privacy. Literally steps away from the beach. Waves and current we're pretty wild, but I could just sit on that beach and stare at the beautiful ocean all day. Location was great, 10-15 minutes from the airport and a very central spot on the island. You could drive to the north or south end within 35 minutes. A couple of delicious restaurants and a Safeway within walking distance. Beach chairs and……

“Great location! So easy to venture north or south on the island! Conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants and shopping! The condo slept all 6 of us comfortably and I heard no complaints. The A/C and 3 ceiling fans kept us cool when we needed it. I loved morning coffee on the lanai with mountains in the background! Close to the beach for sunrise and we got to see whales every morning we went out for sunrsie. The pool was clean and refreshing! Maintenence tested and checked the pool……

“The location was great, but the outside patio chairs were very uncomfortable, if you sat in the low chairs you couldn't see anything and if you sat in the higher chairs they were the uncomfortable ones,so you couldn't sit outside for very long. Very happy with everything else.”

“The room was as advertised. Great view of the ocean. Tiki bar right across the lawn and the Coconut Market place right behind. Loved the location as we were central to everything on the island. Would book here again on future trips.”

“This is our third time staying at Kappa Sands with our small family. We absolutely love it. The beach is perfect for young kids, walk down the beach and the surf is perfect for riding waves. The pool is as always an attraction. We have family meals with all the kitchen appliances you need and a big refrigerator. The life is so sweet at at our little piece of aloha.”
