Fantastic central island location next to some good restaurants, shops, coffee, and grocery. Nice view from the lanai. Great room location at front of property. Convenient outdoor bar by the pool, which closes at 9, like everything else.It is old but comfy. The bathtub clogged easily, even from sub 5 minute showers, but didn`t bother me a lot, but I was also staying alone. Was not fixed during my stay. This would not be good if two or more people were sharing.Keep in mind that you cannot use the onsite laundry since this unit is not part of the other property management company, but there is a great coin laundromat down the street (driving distance)Be very careful with the key. I locked myself out one morning at 6am and did not get back in my room until almost 10am. Local property contact was slow to respond; did not get reply until 830 or so. Thankfully, I had my wallet, phone, and car keys so I went and got breakfast somewhere but it delayed the start to my day so I had to skip a few things. The other management company can`t let you in. The room should upgrade to a key code entry or something to mitigate this risk. I have heard this happening before from the other company staff. I had plenty of towels for my stay. Room provides beach chairs, umbrella, and water shoes, which I did not use. Never used the AC for my stay. You will wake up early each morning from the roosters, but it is not a bad thing. Everything closes early anyway. You can walk on the beach right in front of the property. This is a VRBO specific problem, but I Was frustrated with the fees after booking. My per night price increased by 60-70%. They need to be transparent about this. It makes me seriously consider never using VRBO again. I could have stayed at a hotel or resort for similar post fee price point but wanted to give this a try.
