Temiz, huzurlu ve konforlu bir gece geçirdik. Deniz Hanımın sıcak, samimi ve yardım sever karşılaması, ağırlaması ve uğurlaması bizi çok mutlu etti. Kars da diğer deneyimlerin yanında güzel bir konaklama hatırası da istiyorsanız tercih etmelisiniz.

This is a special place to stay. We enjoyed our time here more than any other place we visited in Turkey! We would never have enjoyed our time in Kars as much without staying here.

Deniz is a one of the best hosts you could ever have. The property is immaculate, and perfectly located, but what is the best about it is how much she genuinely cares about her guests. Lovely conversations and a wonderful spirit. Truly an exceptional place to stay.

Sehr gastfreundliche Unterkunft

Wir sind von der Gastgeberin herzlich empfangen worden. Alles war für uns sehr gut eingerichtet und wir konnten auch unsere Touren in der Stadt und ausserhalb mit Hilfe von Deniz wunderbar planen. Das kleine Haus ist sehr gemütlich.Eine freundliche und tierliebe Umgebung mit kleinem Garten zum Entspannen.

Kars'ta konaklamayı düşünen herkese şiddetlere tavsiye ederim. Sıcak bir ortam, harika bir ev sahibesi ve rahat bir konaklama oldu. Ev ortamı gibi ortak alanların kullanımı sırasında isterseniz evde kalan diğer insanlarla iletişim kurabilirsiniz, isterseniz de güzel dizayn edilmiş kendi odanızda dinlenebilirsiniz. İkramlar ayrıca çok güzeldi. Restorant tavsiyesi, sabah kahvaltısı ayarlama imkanı, taksi çağırma, çay-kahve meyve ikramı, minik bir sürpriz hediye içeren konaklamamdan bir hayli memnunum.

Ev Huzurunda Konaklama

Tamamen tesadüf eseri bulduğumuz Mavi Ladin Konukevi'nden çok memnun kaldık. Her şeyiyle mükemmel bir konaklama oldu, hem Kars'ı hem Mavi Ladin'i çok sevdik. Deniz Hanım çok iyi bir ev sahibi; güler yüzü, samimiyeti ve cömertliği ile bizi evimizde gibi hissettirdi, kendisine çok teşekkür ederiz. Yolumuz Kars'a düşerse (ki şimdiden istiyoruz:) kalacağımız yer belli. Herkese rahatlıkla tavsiye ederim.

We loved Deniz and her many dogs. She is a wonderful host, so caring and eager to help. Her property is unique and very comfortable. You really feel like you are a treasured guest in her home. Deniz is always available to help and answer questions. She will arrange transportation to nearby sights as well. The breakfast is great too. Everything cooked to order.

Deniz is such a genuinely kind and wonderful person who went well out of her way to make sure we had a great visit. It was a treat staying with her, just like staying in the home of a beloved relative. Her home is very clean, quiet, comfortable, and lovingly maintained. We loved chatting with Deniz and meeting her sweet dogs. Will have to be back!

It is a quiet alley in the middle of town. You can walk anywhere. Deniz was very friendly and helpful. She has some very friendly dogs and we spent time with them. Unique property.

Deniz is a wonderful person and the house is a very pleasant place to be. The surrounding area is a mess, but it is really in the center of the city. I can't understand how a city could let this happen, but it is what it is. It isn't cheap compared to some hotels in the area, but for me it was worth it.

A blue home in Kars

My stay at Mavi Ladin Konukevi was a wonderful experience! Deniz, the host, was always very friendly, helpful and supportive. She’s a woman with a big heart, who loves nature and takes care of dogs and cats. And she prepares great organic breakfasts! I got to know some of her lovely friends, and we spent a great time in her garden all together. She arranged for me a visit to Ani and Cildir Lake, and a taxi to Dogubayazit, and everything was perfect. Mavi Ladin Konukevi is perfectly located in a quiet street in Kars, and cleanliness is excellent. I heartily recommend Deniz’s place. I will definitely come back!

Deniz’s place is great to stay in if you are very social, want to meet locals in Kars and/or love dogs. Deniz invited us to many outings with her friends in Kars, including dinner at her place, an outing to Ani and coffee with her friends and we were happy to be included and to get a taste of local life in Kars. She’s also a big big dog lover—she’s adopted a lot of stray dogs and they live happily in her garden and in her apartment upstairs. (If you don’t like dogs though, don’t worry—the bottom floor is for guests and the dogs don’t come in there) The guesthouse was well-furnished. We had an enormous private bathroom and there is a kitchen and washing machine specially for guests. Located in the center of Kars, 10 min walk from the bus station and pretty much any other place you would want to go to in Kars. Special shoutout out to Denis for her extreme consideration in quickly sending over some items I left behind on the day I checked out to the airport via taxi. Thank you for saving me Denis!!

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij Deniz. De kamer was gezellig, ruim en schoon. De gedeelde keuken was van alle benodigdheden voorzien. De locatie is perfect. Deniz is een zeer gastvrije en behulpzame host, die er alles aan doet om het haar gasten naar de zin te maken. Als we nog eens naar Kars gaan, dan zullen we zeker weer bij Deniz aankloppen!

not happy at all

My boyfriend and I did not enjoy our stay here at all. I had chosen this place due to the very high rating and for experiencing the coziness of a house in Kars but it turned out to be the contrary. The owner Deniz hanim is a 'control freak' but she manages, I believe, to hide this issue under the guise of 'hospitality'. I felt harassed as she would text me or call me a few times during the day, trying to figure out where I am and what I am doing, put pressure on me to plan my other days and trying to 'impose' her taxi driver on us the whole time. Finally, when I accepted to take her taxi to go to the village in the morning, without even asking us, she added another guest to our taxi and we went all the way to Ani just to drop off that person- we were late for our breakfast for almost 2 hours! She insisted that we spend new years with her despite me telling her that I was not interested. The night we came, almost after a 25 hours train journey, she kept talking to us for over and hour, and me saying we wanted to shower and sleep did not help. I ended up avoiding her to keep distance but she became even more aggressive as she is emotionally not very stable. She talks about her guests the whole time, and has the need to show off mostly. You just have a room in a small house and you need to share the bathroom and shower so it is not even cheap given that you compromise your privacy and hygiene. If you want your independence and piece of mind, you should look elsewhere

Very nice little guesthouse! The owner Deniz is lovely and can help with many questions travellers would have. She really has an eye for the details, the rooms are cosy and the bath ist clean and the water is hot. It's still more or less in the center of Kars, but super quiet as it is in a small backstreet.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt hier. Der Garten ist sehr angenehm. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist super. Aber was alles noch übersteigt ist die Gastfreundschaft und Hilfbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit der Besitzerin Frau Deniz. Sie hat uns in jeglicher Hinsicht von der Abholung, Restaurantbesuche, Auswahl der Sehenswürdigkeiten und sogar bei medizinischen Notfaellen geholfen und unterstützt und dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Kars waere ohne Frau Deniz nicht Kars für uns.
