Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet our expectations.
The location is beautiful, but the food was a major disappointment, especially breakfast. The quality and presentation were shocking — some dishes looked like dog food and tasted just as bad. The cooked breakfast comes with random vegetables such as broccoli, while the avocado, prosciutto and salmon often did not taste fresh. Buffet pastries are left uncovered with flies around them, which is very unpleasant.
Dinner was also poor. We ended up sticking to appetisers and salads, as the meat and fish were disappointing. Given the seaside location, we expected fresh seafood, but much of the fish appeared frozen.
The music is extremely loud throughout the day, with nowhere to escape it, making it difficult to relax.
Most staff are friendly and attentive. Housekeeping do an excellent job, and special thanks to Prince at reception, who has been professional, helpful and genuinely trying to resolve our issues.
Unfortunately, one bar staff member was extremely rude and aggressive when we tried to clarify a bill, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and intimidated.
The hotel also needs considerable TLC. The beach needs cleaning, including cigarette butts, the restaurant decking is visibly rotten, and the overall appearance feels tired and shabby.
Beautiful location and some lovely staff, but the food, maintenance, loud music and one poor staff interaction significantly affected our stay.
