“It was wonderful to be able to walk down to the Platte River. Although the Sandhill Cranes had already left for their nesting territories, the Bald Eagle was a delightful substitute.”

Extremely spacious with room for play, sharing big meals, private bathing, quiet resting, and even the holiday spirit! The homeowners went out of their way to make us feel special including Christmas music greeting us as we walked through the front door! Best Christmas away from home we could hope for. Thank you!”

“What a great place to stay to watch the crane migration. The first evening we sat on the beautiful patio and had sandhill cranes all around us. Close to the best bird viewing spots. Clean and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen. And enjoyed the fireplace. We loved this place. And would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed here so we could watch the cranes at Rowe Sanctuary. We had early mornings and late evenings, but the Bunkhouse was always quiet so we could catch up on our sleep. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities made our stay easy and convenient.”

“It faces towards their property and the highways right there, which you can hear really well at night because there’s nothing blocking the sound which made it a little difficult for me to sleep. However, that is a personal preference. I just wish that I had known it was that close to the highway. Other than that I really enjoyed it in the bed super comfortable.”
