“It was quiet, clean and cozy. Con was that you had to take a taxi if you didn’t have a personal vehicle. Nothing was in walking distance. ”

“When we arrived the property seemed older than we thought from pictures and the inside is dated. However, the inside is very personalized by the owner and is very unique and was quite comfortable. If you think about visiting a remote cabin in Alaska, this is it. If you want a modern home with newer amenities this is not the place. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would consider it again. I do wish they had a better freezer situation for fish but with 7 of us fishing it still worked out……

“very nice cabin. rented motor boat that broke down in middle of lake, owner offered no help in getting us back to shore. overall everything turned out ok but it could have been a very bad experience. had to row over a mile to get to broken down motor boat, then we had to fix it ourselves ”

“This hotel had shut down and we got no notice. Only found out they were closed after driving 2.5 hours and not being able to reach the lodge by phone.”

“We absolutely loved the little Cabin in Kenai. It had plenty of room for the 2 of us and we loved the cozy feel and the view is incredible. We would have loved a small loveseat in the living room but we enjoyed our time and would love to visit again!!”

“We came here for a family wedding , and couldn’t have asked for a better experience ! We loved the view and being able to walk to the beach in minutes . The kitchen is fit for a queen and made food prep a breeze . We will carry this memory forever , along with lots of laughs and new family memories .”
