“What a fantastic venue for our family reunion! We booked all the houses on the property. We used the main house as our meeting place and to prepare meals. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub while the adults appreciated the hill country view and just sitting around the porch chatting. I've never seen brighter stars in the sky or bigger smiles on everyone's faces. Hoping to come back again! Highly recommend!”

“I absolutely love this house! It was clean and comfortable. Back off the road and very private and quiet. Unfortunately, due to the burn ban, we couldn’t have a fire outside, but the fire pit area was a nice place to sit and talk. There’s so much to do in the area with just a short drive. “Property was the perfect out of town getaway. The house is a modern version of a dog-trot with covered communal space in the center that opens up to amazing hill country views. Stars were amazing and complimented by outdoor fire pit. Pet friendly…a great retreat for 1-2 couples and their furry companions.”

“There's several gates to get to Box 3, which makes it a little daunting to get through when you're coming back from a long day. I wish it had been noted that there was no central heat or air. The space heaters tripped the circuit breaker our first night, but they were quick to address it and comped us a day for the hassle, which was very considerate. The tight, steep spiral staircase was a bit challenging for our luggage. Another thing worth mentioning is that the refrigerator is very small,……

“My husband and I stayed at Grapetown for my birthday and it was the perfect escape. It was isolated and quiet, but not too far from Fredericksburg. We got to enjoy the stars from the hot tub at night and enjoy the property during the day. Please stay here!”
