Unfortunately it wasn’t a particularly pleasant welcome to the cottage as there was a strong

Unfortunately it wasn’t a particularly pleasant welcome to the cottage as there was a strong smell of dog and we had to open the windows and patio doors for some considerable time to improve it. Also the front door mat was filthy and quite off putting every time you walked into the porch. So eventually I rolled it up and replaced it with the doormat from the patio doors. The towel radiator in the bathroom was quite thick with towel dust and needed cleaning before use. The mattresses were quite soft and likely need replacing. Other than that the cottage was generally quite clean, warm and comfortable.
