Absolutely superb staff extremely helpful and accommodating, i am deaf and although the hotel does not have a Deafguard the evening shift manager confirmed the night staff would be aware of my additional needs requirement. The hotel is let down by the main owners OYO group who do not seem to invest in their hotels as with many of their group they are in need of a freshen up.

I couldn't tell you about the rest of the rooms in the hotel but I had advised the hotel before hand that I had mobility issues and they had put me in an accessible room that was ideal for my needs The door opened onto the car park where I managed to park every night except Saturday when I was later returning, that night I had to park on the road, I am sure if I had returned earlier that I would have got a spot, my choice to stay out late The staff were very helpful, just let them know if you need anything and they will help if they can, I would stay in this room again if I was in the area.

Always happy to stay at Rothwell House. Staff are always helpful. The building is older with a glorious winding staircase. Showers are usually good and hot, but not at 2am. Beds comfortable. Parking is tight during the week. Don't forget to put your reg number in the machine!

Everywhere was very clean, nice supply of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries. Staff were nice. On arrival the small car park was full. It was also so narrow that I had to reverse onto a busy street to get out. We had to park a short walk down the road in a free public car park. The room also unbearably hot with no air conditioning. The window opening was restricted and the fan just circulated warm air.
