Such a disappointment. In a beautiful place like Key West, the room was depressing and honestly beyond terrible. I have stayed in highway motels with better rooms and amenities. The elevator was broken, so we had to drag our suitcases up three floors, which made the experience even worse. The room itself was small and dark, with windows facing basically nowhere, so it felt closed off and gloomy. The stone flooring made it more unpleasant. What surprised me most was how overpriced it was for what we got. Paying that much for the worst room you have ever stayed.

Check in person was polite with me he advised elevator was not working and did suggest helping with my luggage. Room looked clean but screaming GERMS SHEETS AND BLANKET dingy felt like sand was in it. I caught an allergic reaction. I had to take Benadryl that next morning. To clam the hives and break out . I went to the front desk. I spoke with Miss McKenzie and supervisor on staff. Which did not care to accommodate me with any results. I advised of nasty condition. I also sent a text message as advised to housekeeping but still not clean, but they’re not changed. Sheets still will not change after five hours and not to mention television did not work. A technician came out five hours later to work on television, which took an hour fix ! After COVID I thought cleanliness would have been priority ! No one apologized or accommodated me for such a disgusting stay.

Shuttle times are extremely accurate. Beautfil place with friendly staff. Only wish checkout time was a bit later. Elevators were out our entire stay. We were on third floor. The staff did offer to help carry our luggage up.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They wuickly changed our room when we notified them of an issue and they were extremely responsive whenever we had questions. The property is beautiful and our upgraded suite room was amazing. This hotel really made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable.

It was ok. The pool area was average at best. There's a huge area to one side of the pool that was empty. It should have been filled with loungers because there weren't enough and they were a bit ratty and not very comfortable. Could have cleaned the leaves out of the pool and whirlpool better as well. When I arrived, I was told the elevator was out. Then I asked where I was and it was rm 433...only 3 flights of stairs. Never got fixed the days I was there. Never even saw anyone working on it. I'm not an invalid but the guy telling me oh it's only 3 flights wasn't helpful. He offered to have someone take my bag but, how about fix the damn elevator. Night Kayak was great and food was decent in the restaurant but a bit pricey.

The hotel has 2 properties 6 blocks apart, one has front desk, the other doesn't. So, we had to walk for 6 blocks after checked in. Fortunately, it was not raining. I found out after I left the hotel that the front desk personnal did not give back my license. Usually, hotels return your ID even before giving you the room key. He did not. Not only that, they did not bother to inform me during the 2 day stay or during check out. I found out my license was missing only after I got on a cruise. Imagine if that was the only ID I had. I could have missed the cruise. Fortunately, I had my passport. After the cruise I went to the hotel to stay there for another 3 days (premade reservation) and asked for my license. He showed me like 50-60 licenses people left behind. I knew he wanted me to feel better, but exposed a pattern of wrong practice on their part. I wonder how many people lost their flight or cruise because they completely failed to do the common curtesy of informing you that they forgot to give back your ID? That is a huge neglegence of the staff. Other than that, hotel is clean and has a good location.

We stayed in a standard king suite it was sufficient for two people. There is a very small refrigerator and a coffee maker. There is no housekeeping so you must text when you need towels toiletries etc. there is no ice machine on the property you need to go to the front desk and get bags of ice. The pool area is large, however the chair lounges are limited so you must fight people for a chair literally. They need new lounge chairs and more umbrellas around the pool area. The lounge chairs that we had to sit in were sunken in and very uncomfortable as the fabric has been stretched out from wear and tear. We spoke with other folks that had been to this resort before. They advised us that there were many lounge chairs including ones that line the Beach area previously, but they weren't there this time around? If you wanted a chair on the beach, you literally had to carry it yourself to the beach. The beach area is disgusting and smells like sewer and it's got swamp sludge that should be raped and cleaned to make it a more pleasurable experience if you so chose to swim in the ocean. I needed to text message more than once to receive requested items needed for the room like towels coffee etc.

Property was a bit dated and not the “resort” experience. Room had a single window looking at adjacent building wall and elevators did not work. Technically it had a“beach” as advertised, but I would not have called it that. With no breakfast or beneficial location, I would have been better off at a lower end chain hotel. The best perk is a shuttle running most the day to downtown. While no airport pick up, this saves on uber or trying to self park. Great communication from the property from pre-arrival through checkout.

On arrival, the elevator did not work, and it did not work for most of our stay. We also did not have maid service. If you needed anything, you had to wait in a line in the lobby to ask for it. They provide shuttle service; however, if the shuttle is full, they will not come back to pick you up until the next allotted hour because they only have one van. So, plan for an uber type service. The restaurants on site are great as well as all staff. In regard to the pool area there are not enough beach chairs to accommodate guest.

The room was nice but the access to the pool from the room was an accident waiting to happen. There is about a 4” lip from the room to the balcony that we tripped over 3 times in as many hours. The steps to the pool area from the balcony are spiral which is fine but they are so narrow that you have to walk sideways to avoid falling. At the bottom there is just mulch and no walkway or even a path to the sidewalk. The condition of the pool area wasn’t great. The tile around the pool was dirty and extremely chipped everywhere. The pool itself had a lot of leaves at the bottom and wasn’t very clean. The lounge chairs were old and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Both restaurants are “not affiliated with the hotel” so you can’t charge anything to the room. The chicken walk was very run down although the bartender was nice. When we went to the other restaurant the hostess was very rude and kept asking us if we were there for happy hour. We just wanted to get a drink and have dinner. We were seated with about 15 minutes left of happy hour but the waitress didn't come over until 1 minute after it was over then proceeded to make a show of looking at her watch and saying that happy hour had ended. We chose not to eat there. We wanted a relaxing weekend but after the first few hours decided that we would stay elsewhere even though we already paid. Draw
