“My boyfriend and I found this unique space a PERFECT abode for us! It was incredibly well kept, spacious and had a sweet outdoor area to enjoy the local wildlife. We had the good fortune to see two deer and many boisterous birds from the comfort of the front porch. Such a cozy, welcoming home. Thank you so much for the wonderful space!”

“Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit.”

“The wife, dogs, and I stayed here to unplug during a rainy Memorial Day. This property is special! Felt like we were transported back to the 1800s (but with some key comforts like baseboard heaters). We enjoyed zoning out to the crackling fire and looking at the tides go by.”

“My wife and I and a friend spent nearly a week at Oyster Lodge mostly under completely blue skies and little wind. We enjoyed the privacy, the spa, the commercial gas stove, the huge kitchen, and oystering on the beach. The large propane grill was perfect for cooking oysters in the shell. We also went clamming at the nearby WDFW tidelands near Quilcene. The 100 steps down to the beach were a little challenging, but we all made it on several occasions. The house was very clean except for a sticky……

“The Hood Canal Beachfront Bungalow is a great place to stay if you are looking for a few quiet days. The cabin was very clean, and everything I needed for cooking was there. I really enjoyed the fireplace and the telescope. But most of all, the quiet was amazing. I would definitely recommend!”

“There was Zero help from anyone.The toilet broke on our first day(monday)still wasn't working on Wednesday.We called in to the managers.Nothing but promises.SO we had to run into town whenever we had to go.(or out in the woods).The water system is not legal. I wouldn't even take a shower in it.The ice trays were froxen brown ice.The owners comments say "If you don't like it go into town and buy water.It's Mid May and the lawns have yet to be mowed.There is NO access to the beach because the……

“The cabin had amazing views and we loved relaxing on the deck taking them in. Super easy check in and the host was great and sent some helpful tips. The kitchen was well stocked and loved the coffee set up, comfortable beds, and hot tub. It was also conveniently located to the naval base for a visit.”

“We got to the property late at night. Male neighbors had direct view of us as they talked loudly out on their backyard. At one point during the night there were gunshots. As a woman, I wouldn’t have felt safe staying there alone. Exterior lighting at lockbox was aimed poorly, we could not see lock dials so we had to use our flashlight on our smart phones to see the lock. Property has some questionable construction that i am sure is not up to code. Stairs to upstairs rooms are blocking entrance……

“This property under-promised and over-delivered. For example, the sofa bed is actually in a separate room with a door, so it's a three-bedroom cabin by typical VRBO standards. It's in a nice area surrounded by woods, but convenient to 101 and Triton State Park, etc. There is a family of moose that would wander by in the mornings, which were nice to look at though the kitchen window.”

“I stayed here for three nights while on a business trip. The place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was useful to make a light meal, but there is no cutting board for use. However, plates, pots/pans, cups and utensils are provided. The building has a secure entry and you need a code for the elevator as well, so I felt safe entering the building.
