“The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.”

“Stay at this hotel. Firstly, a credit to the staff, all of whom were fantastically polite and personable, providing simply great service. The vintage lift was a unique joy with the communal areas continuing the slightly nostalgic theme. The bar and dining vibe was relaxed, quiet and combined with great food and attentive staff made for a relaxed breakfast, evening drinks and dinner. “Very Hekpful Staff”

“Very nice location, beautiful grounds. Lot of parking space. Nice size rooms. Bath tub was not very practical, in fact dangerous to stand in when having a shower. No air conditioning in rooms but this was not critical.”

“Didn’t think that a hotel in a service area would be as good as it was. Hotel exceptionality clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely laid out and we had more than enough to eat. Unfortunately we booked for two nights but had to leave after one but will definitely be back.”

“A lovely property, great rooms and communal areas. I love the idea that it operated as almost self catering, without traditional hotel services. It was calm and quiet, very relaxing stay, would definitely come again. Fantastic little village and beach within walking distance.”
