"Kruger Park Lodge in general is a very nice property. The property is very well kept, clean and well looked after. The facilities are great with the hippo hide where you can watch hippos safely as well as an extremely nice golf course on the property with impala walking on the course. "My wife and I loved our 3-night stay at Eagle’s Nest Chalets in Hazyview. The cozy, private chalets immersed us in nature, just minutes from Kruger’s Phabeni Gate. A special thanks to Riekie for being such a warm and welcoming host! Gravel roads, no WiFi in rooms? No problem—it made our digital detox even better. Peaceful, comfortable, and ideal for couples. "This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "

"Fabulous river frontage My husband tried unsuccessfully to land some fair sized trout. Cottage very comfortable with fireplace and heaters. Had Sabie trout in the restuarant which was excellent. Perfect base for visiting all the local sites and hikes. Will go back again. Staff discreet and efficient. Sadly, my offer to buy life rights to the cottage as a retirement home was rejected. Ah well…."
