Great location - great end unit

Resort was beautiful. Directly across the street from a beautiful beach. Unit was up to date, bed was comfortable, plenty of beach supplies available for use, lanai plenty roomy enough to sit out and enjoy. Highly recommend this unit for a stay in Maui.

Property is in a great location and perfect for two people. Great lanai for drinking coffee or drying your wet items. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Maui. Also, Sunny Maui was a great host. The internet went out when we were there and they came over at night, had to go to the store to get equipment, and brought it back to set up. We really appreciate all of their efforts to ensure we had a great stay.

Beautiful Kihei

We loved our stay at Kamaole Sands. The condo was beautiful, clean and newly remodeled. The courtyard was and ocean view provided the perfect views. We will be back.

We loved all of Maui. We explored all coasts and 10+ beaches. There is better snorkeling other places but our kids just wanted to come back to this beach and play on the perfectly sized waves and sandy bottom of this KamIII beach that was walking distance from our door. The pool/hot tube was a great way to finish each night after the beach. Perfect trip, perfect place. Will repeat this 100%

Lovely Stay at Kamaole Sands

We’ve stayed at Kamaole Sandals numerous times. Pros of this condo: location, well stocked kitchen, sand toys, beach chairs, lovely lanai, close to pool. Cons: no AC in bedroom, no dresser in bedroom, sofa bed has bar in your back, very close to BBQ area. We loved the condo overall and would stay there again. It is very well updated and has cute decor. We were at this property during the wildfires that devastated Maui. Even with the fans on, the bedroom would get hot at night, so we would have to open the windows; however, we couldn’t open the windows after the wildfires since we didn’t want to breathe in the smoke. A portable AC unit in the bedroom would have been very welcome and appreciated.

Beautiful Beach Town Vacation

Each morning, we enjoyed a breathtaking sunrise from the deck. The property amenities, including a gym, hot tub, and pool, provided an excellent way to conclude each day.The location proved highly advantageous, offering convenient walking access to various points of interest in Kihei. Furthermore, our central position facilitated easy highway access to destinations such as the Road to Hana, Haleakala, and West Maui.Costco is a mere 20-minute drive away.We eagerly anticipate our return.

This place was adequate for our purposes. The lanai is nice and large, use of beach chairs is a plus, uncomfortable bed and worn interior (minus the kitchen) were negatives. I’d liken it to a holiday inn, not great, not bad, purely functional.

The condo itself was great. Fantastic location. The staff at the pool was against fun. We stayed with kids but it wasn’t too family friendly down there. Everything else was great. Bed was comfortable, etc. there are two small AC units but struggled to keep the place cool. Might have been user error. Was more of a fan than blowing anything cold into the unit.

Everything was good, just that we did not have pleasant experience because my daughter got scared after seeing gecko in house. She did not experience ever that kind of thing here in Seaatle location. But, again that is natural over there due to the weather and all those things. Apart from that the bed was not that good. It was quirky a lot.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kamaoli Sands is a beautiful complex in South Kihei. The Pool and Gardens are in excellent condition. The condo unit was clean and well kept. We used the outside shared grills , and they were very nice. The living room air conditioner did not seem to keep up with the cool of the living space - we are not in the unit a lot, so this wasn’t an issue for us. The bedroom air conditioner was able to cool the smaller space and was comfortable for sleeping. Overall, our stay was excellent.

Great location and beautiful grounds!

Rental was the perfect location within walking distance to the beach, shopping and so many great restaurants. The rental functioned great after the AC was fixed. Management response time is amazingly quick and everyone was very pleasant. Unit wasn’t as newly remodeled as advertised and also wasn’t very clean. But it served our purpose and we had a great time. We did not spend that much time in it anyhow. We will definitely stay in this area again and think we’d consider coming back to this unit or at least renting from the same company in the future

Highly recommended

This is a very well maintained condo, and we were extremely comfortable during our recent two week stay. The large lanai was where we had most of our meals; it is partially shaded during much of the day but you could always find a sunny spot on it if you wanted. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of cooking utensils and appliances. We also liked the fact that we could open the lanai door and the front door and you then got a lovely breeze through the unit which meant we never had to turn on the a/c. The grounds are very well kept, the BBQ area was clean with good quality Weber BBQs, and the pool and hot tub area was also very well maintained. The days that we felt like going to the beach Kamaole III was a 5 minute walk from the unit. We really enjoyed our stay here and the only reason we would not re-book it for next year is if we need a bigger unit for the rest of the family that wants to come with us!

Excellent Vacation Home Away from Home

I very much enjoyed my stay in Maui and loved my VRBO. It was clean, quiet and I had most everything I required to experience a relaxing getaway. Mornings and evenings on the lanai could not be beat! I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning to it again.

Great experience

This condo was in a great location directly across from the beach. The unit and grounds were well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to comeback and relax after a day at the beach. It also has a very nice pool, children's pool, and hot tub in the grounds.
