This condo is more spacious than the pictures show. You can see and hear the ocean from the living room and patio, the furniture is comfortable, the bedrooms have closets and dressers for your belongings. we loved our stay here, the beach was just steps from the patio as was the pool. Parking is easy and it is very easy to get around Maui from here. The town have a lot of restaurants and grocery stores.

Great location

From booking to check in to check out the process was easy and the location communication was excellent. The location was perfect with easy ground floor exit straight out to the pool and beach. Perfect for families with kids (like ours). The location was also great to get to other local beaches or to head out north or east exploring other parts of the island. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Maui Vacation!

This condo was perfect! Just a short walk to the (never crowded) beach and steps from the pool, our stay in Maui couldn’t have been better. The condo was fully equipped and our family of four had plenty of space to spread out. The central location made everything on the island an easy drive. Communication was very easy and was another perk of our stay. We’d give six stars if we could! Thanks for a great stay Smith Family

Great location

Toes in the sand!

There's a whole lot to love about Maalaea Surf Resort - G1, but what I loved the most was the fact that the beach and the beautiful Pacific ocean were a mere 30 steps or so from the patio. The condo was well apportioned throughout. The rooms were large and comfy for our family of four adults. The location couldn't be better--right in the middle of the island. We will absolutely return to Maalaea Surf when visiting Maui. We have already recommended it to family and friends. Mahalo!

Great Family Vacation

Property was great and was as listed with accurate photos. Great spot for our family of 5. Unit was well appointed, and well stocked with almost everything we needed for in house dining and cooking. Great location by the pool and beach. Communication with property staff was excellent. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends.

You are unwelcome here.

I’m sure under usual circumstances this place was better than our stay.... We were already in Hawaii for a week and moved to this condo. We called the day before to approve early check in and they said yes. We arrived and the manager was terrible. These were his phrases, “You know, ‘they’ don’t want you here.” Then he said he was heading to the beach so if we wanted early check in we needed to call Lady1 and Lady2, here are their numbers. Huh? Ok, we can do that. We texted them and they explained how inappropriate it was for us to text their Personal Phones. We wouldn’t have packed up all our fridge food and 3 young kids to wait in the parking lot there for 3 hours...but oh well. The place was beautiful! Grounds were well kept, specific condo was clean. Basic kitchen supplies were provided...all better than expected. The manager continued to be rude and opposite of ‘Aloha’ our entire stay, eventually causing our early departure. We were thankful for the refund for unused nights. We loved the beauty of this location but won’t return unless they ever have a new on site manager. Our takeaway was “You are Unwelcome Here”.

great family vacation

We appreciated how generally well stocked the kitchen was for dishes and utensils. Could do with more wine glasses and smaller juice glasses. We enjoyed how well ventilated the condo was and did not need to use the central air conditioner. The unit was a lovely morning sun catcher. The property is one of the best in Kihei, The beach and sunset views are wonderful.

Great location well maintained facility,everything we needed

lots of space for a family of 4, pool and beach at your back door walk to store or never leave everything you need just bring food will try to stay longer next time. pool and grounds cleaned and washed down every morning early you did't know they were there, location is great for any activity ,on the quiet end of Kihei Thanks, The Murphy family.

Wonderful condo complex on the ocean

My husband and I loved staying at Maalaea Surf!! It is a hidden gem ! It's private, quieter than most condo complexes And the staff and surroundings were wonderful. Maalaea Surf is on a gorgeous sandy beach that goes for miles. Being in North Kihei, it is easy access to all the shops and restaurants in Kihei, Wailea and McCenna, and only 25 min From the airport. Our unit was clean and well taken care of. It had everything you would need! Hope we can come Back here next year! Linda Lervick
