Beautiful setting

This was a great place. Downstair bedroom was a little deceiving with pictures.. thought there was at least a full bed and twin but it only had two twins ..we made do thanks to Target! Great place to make memories with the grandkids.. easy walks on the beach!

Amazing!

Just an absolutely perfect location! Loved the view and the farmers market was within walking distance. Kihei was close by for groceries. So easy to drive anywhere on the island from this spot. Would highly recommend this rental!!!

Great location and strong value

Clean, spacious condo which was very comfortable for our party of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids). We appreciated that the kitchen had all flatware, dishes, cookware, etc. to fully utilize the kitchen. Also really appreciated and used the 200 mbps Internet download speed. Laundry is right downstairs which is a big plus. The condo is very conveniently located to get wherever you want to go on the island (especially Ululani’s Shaved Ice!). Our only negatives are with the resort itself: no shade or umbrellas at the pool, and no hot tub.

Wonderful Stay

This is a comfy condo with great decor in a fabulous location. The view is stunning. We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning and relaxing to it in the evenings. Kihei is centrally located with tons of restaurants nearby. Megan was a responsive host who offers lots of sightseeing suggestions in her Welcome book. Loved that beach chairs and an umbrella were included in the beach supply closet. We really hope we get a chance to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful place to stay in Maui, both inside the condo and the grounds!

We had a wonderful time at this condo in Kihei, Maui. The view of the pool and ocean is spectacular. The inside is nicely decorated with new appliances and furniture. The owner does a great job providing everyday essentials! The grounds are always clean and well maintained. The pool is a great place to hang out and never too crowded. We also had fun playing shuffleboard. The barbecues are clean and worked well. The beach is a nice place to walk in the morning or at sunset and is a great place for swimming and kayaking. The condo was centrally located, be sure to try the bakery and shaved ice across the street. It was the perfect place to come back and relax after a busy day sightseeing!

We know where our next vacation will be!

We had the most amazing time at this property and the property manager, Megan, was fantastic to work with. We had plenty of space, lots of pool and beach toys, lots of room to play games and create memories. The views from this property are incredible and there is everything that you can possibly need. Having the second bathroom upstairs makes getting ready for the day a breeze. We cannot say enough good things!

A Wonderful Vacation!

Maui in & of itself is beautiful but when traveling, accommodations make a big difference to any getaway. We loved the unit, the location, the beach access, and working with Megan. She is the perfect host! All of these made for a great & relaxing vacation. We loved all of it!

Perfect property for any group

Fantastic location! 15 minutes from ogg airport. Shaved ice, grocery/farmers market, and bus stop all a 5 minute walk from condo. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking essentials and the closets were stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable day on the beach (chairs, umbrella, games, cooler, boogie boards). Beach at property was all sand and was not plagued with sharp coral rocks like most of the other beaches. Waves were small, but are large enough to surf half a mile north of your beach access. You will not find a more convenient property to stay at!

Wonderful Property!

We really enjoyed our stay here in this beautiful property! The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfy and we were so glad it had AC. The view is incredible! We loved opening the big porch doors and hearing the ocean waves. The pool is a bit cold for my taste but my kids enjoyed it every day. We had a few windy days when we first arrived but by the end of our stay it was perfect. The wind does seem to pick up more in this location but it's not bad. It was so nice to be able to zip up to Lahaina and head south to Wailea so easily. The location is fantastic! We loved walking to the bakery in the morning and grabbing masaladas and pies (for later). So yummy! The shave ice place is amazing as is the farmer's market right there. It's all so convenient! The beach is great for walking and running. We loved exploring the tide tools about a mile north on the beach. So fun! The beach toys, chairs and towels were so appreciated! Would definitely stay here again!

Best Maui condo we have ever stayed in

We were blown away by the view and panoramic windows. It was very clean when we arrived and parking was super close to the unit. We loved the grounds, everyone was very friendly, and the location was perfect. The owner was very helpful and friendly and we will absolutely be back.

Great condo, great view!

We had an amazing time at this condo! It was clean, comfortable and very functional. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for our family of 4. It also had a small supply of things we needed while we were there like dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry pods, paper towel, cling wrap, spices, etc. (which saved us the annoyance of having to buy them while we were there). We really appreciated the beach chairs, beach toys and boogie boards that were in the condo. It was amazing to wake up to this view every morning and be able to watch the whales during breakfast. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The pool was very clean and well-used by my kids. I found it colder than the ocean but my kids didn't seem to mind! Everyone we talked to at the resort was very friendly. It's a small, quiet resort and has a farmer's market, shave ice, bakery and ABC store within just a few minutes walk. It's in a great location to get anywhere in Maui. We had about 4 days of our stay that were ridiculously windy (the beach was out of the question because we'd get sandblasted, literally). It seemed like this area of Kihei was windier than the more southern part of Kihei/Wailea. So on these really windy days we just explored beaches that were south of us and they seemed a bit less windy. Hope to make it back someday! Aloha!

Great Maui Location

This is a great family resort right on a perfect west-facing beach. Great for sunsets and people of all ages. Two lovely pools, lots of grass, amazing whale watching! Beautifully maintained.

A Jewel on the Beach

We loved our stay at Ma'alaea Surf. This condo looks right out over the ocean and the whales were abundant. This is a small, quiet, very friendly neighborhood. The kitchen was well-stocked with the basics and everything was clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely be back.

Hidden Gem

Tucked away at the North end of Kihei is a low rise (no elevators for me!) condominium complex that is right on Sugar Beach which we think is the best beach on Maui...it's just what a Hawaiian vacation should be.....beautiful grounds, gorgeous pool, bbq that is immaculate, view of the water and sunsets...Ahhh We spent two relaxing weeks with daily walks to the Farmer's Market and Sugar Beach Bakery and Ululani Shave Ice....The ABC store is there too in case we needed more wine! The condo is tastefully decorated and equipped with all the necessary items....We will be back! Aloha!

Truly perfect for our family

What a beautiful, comfortable and convenient place to be! We don't take many vacations and this was our first as a family of four with a 3.5 and a 1.5 year old in tow. So many things about the condo made it easy to relax there with them: they slept amazingly well in the back bedroom, there was carpet in the living room to play and tumble on, they LOVED the lanai which was very safe, and we simply blocked off the spiral staircase with a chair. We cooked meals there and had everything we needed for cook/dishware. Halfway through our stay we discovered beach toys, pool toys, a high chair and pack n play (but we had already rented a high chair, potty chair, life vests, and crib with Akamai Rentals which I would also highly recommend!). The view is stunning. The only thing between the lanai and the beach, is the pool, and like the description says the property is small compared to most so it's not much of a distance! We explored the island a lot and took long drives but we also went to our own beach at least twice a day! It was as nice as any we visited and never crowded in the least. I can't say enough about how well it all worked for us, so if you're looking for an easy and beautifual spot with the kiddos, this is it. Though it would be all those things without kids too! We hope to come back in the future.

So Perfect

I almost don’t want to talk about what a great time we had at this amazing spot! We want to keep it all to ourselves for next year’s visit :). Gorgeous grounds, beautifully updated unit, kind management, great location. My husband and I brought our two teens, who actually chilled out and got along. Can’t wait to get back.

Overall property accommodations were very nice and clean. Would book property location again. Check-in process was delayed due to inaccurate door code. Property manager quickly responded and provide access within 15 minutes of arrival. Request for lower level conversation of dual twins to King was not as expected.

Paradise in Maui

This is a beautiful property! The location is fantastic--15 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from downtown Kihei and great restaurants, 3 minute walk to the best shaved ice on the island, and right on the beach. We were a group of 3 girlfriends and we loved starting each morning with a walk on the beach then breakfast on our lanai. Beach chairs, beach bag and boogie boards were provided so heading to the beach was always convenient. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean and lovely. I would absolutely stay here again! We had a wonderful, relaxing and rejuvenating stay here!
